Tactical Tuition | First Aid

I undertook Graham Matthews' Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work Course in February and found it to be excellent. Graham created the right balance of theoretic and practical instruction and allowed time for us to discuss matters around the subject, and put these into 'what if' scenarios. Unknown to me at the time, but having this qualification has subsequently enabled my business to complete the pre-qualification criteria with a key client. In addition to the business benefits, I feel that I would now be confident to support and assist an emergency medical episode should this occur either at home, work or socially. Health and Safety is really important to Signs Express Oxford which is why we put our staff on a range of training courses including First Aid training.

Graham from Tactical Tuition is an amazing trainer and our latest member of staff to attend the training with Tactical Tuition said it was the best First Aid course they had been on and found the training informative and helpful. They now feel a lot more confident dealing with first aid issues after attending the course.

Like a knight in shiny white polo shirt…Like a knight in shiny white polo shirt armour you came to resolve a one of KJ Smith’s biggest flaws earlier this week. Although a busy and successful niche family law firm we had neglected our health and safety requirements for too long; apparently almost 80% of businesses in this country are not-compliant with the regulations about first-aiders at work and until this week we were one of those firms – but no more!I am informed by my operations team that from an administrative perspective you were easy to talk to, prompt with your correspondence and flexible with how we as a firm wanted to manage things. Not that it is the most important factor but I understand you are also competitive with the pricing of the courses you offer too.You attended the headquarters of KJ Smith in Reading on Monday for a day of training lawyers and legal secretaries on first aid both at work and in the community. The ability to have this sort of training on site was invaluable as it meant the office could remain manned and work undertaken in breaks and after the training concluded in mid-afternoon. The content was up to date, relevant and delivered at a pace and in a style suitable to all. By the end of the day all attendees were adept at CPR, using a defibrillator and abdominal thrusts (for choking patients). As an attendee on your course, and having done multiple first aid courses in the past with different organisations (including some of the most well-known organisations), I can safely say I felt I retained more and learnt more from your course than I ever have before. I look forward to seeing how you get on teaching us fire marshal training next month but am already confident we are in good hands.
