TACOS HELL YEAH

This place is fast efficient small in size but they have a big screen TV often airing the most current Sports. Their food is fantastic especially their tacos so if you follow the title of the restaurant you might find yourself saying Hell yeah! They also do taco Tuesdays where the tacos are still the same amount of meat but priced at around $1 a piece on Tuesdays I believe about a buck 40 or 50 other days. Very good tacos for the price you pay. The tacos here are $1.39! There's nothing too special about this place but I think that's why I like it. Sometimes businesses don't need to over do a taco joint like creating your own special salsa or create a different style taco. This spot serves decent, greasy tacos like how tacos should be. H-e-double-c-k. This is it. This is the jam. My wife and I eat here a lot. Actually, it makes me uncomfortable with how often my wife and I eat here. But never mind that. Solid taco offerings. Burritos are decent. Both salsas are salsariffic. Green salsa is everything a green salsa should be. A little tang, a little kick. Just a spot on salsa. The red salsa is great too. HOT and Smokey, but not gross hot. Just the right amount of "punch in the face." Like when you have been complaining all day, and your boi is like "DUDE. ENOUGH." And then punches you in the face and you are like "Wow. Thanks dude. I needed that. I really don't know what got in to me." And then you go home feeling refreshed or something. They have a salsa bar which is a huge plus. Mexican restaurants that don't have easy salsa access are a huge turn off. Hell Yeah Fries are pretty bomb.However...THE NACHOS. The nachos are the secret sauce. These are the bees knees. These are THE nacho quintessence. This is pretty much all we eat there because it's really that good. Get the nachos. Atmosphere is mostly what I'd expect from a good Mexican hole-in-the-wall with the exception of the added Biker theme. Odd, but fun. A couple of negatives which prevent from a full 5 stars:The older lady clerk that serves during the day is pretty unfriendly and has tried to force me to buy water on a couple of occasions. I'd recommend going in the evenings where the younger crew seems to be a bit friendlier. Next thing, steer clear of the Chile Relleno, because hawt dang, that thing is heinous! Like, remarkably bad. Still 5 stars.  Saturday night 8:45.  Craving tacos.  I live in Tarzana and would rather cruise some extra miles for this place.  I've only had the taco/burrito combo every time because every time it hits.  Pastor is good.  It has that citrus smokey taste that I'm always looking for. Asada taco compliments well.  I never judge taco spots on their rnb because it seems like it all tastes the same and it's just there for one purpose: filler.  Would I be happier if they added more butter or lard for flavor like some street trucks do?  Nah.  The meat has made flavor, salsa is bomb, and that's how I determine good vs bad.  This place is good!  Have the pastor my people! This taco spot rocks.  The Pastor is really really good. I've had this a few ways, in a taco, in a burrito they always stay winning.  My wife had the enchiladas which she enjoyed a lot.  I like the decor inside with cool pics of motorcycles.  The staff is fast and friendly too.  Overall a good place for bomb Mexican food. 5 stars ain't even close to the quality of these tacos, more like 1000 for sure!  Matt and Fernando came to our Los Angeles location as a gift from the producers as appreciation for our cast and crew.  (season 2 Light As A feather)  wasn't long before the "walkie" buzz was "hey these tacos are killer"  Vans were sent from Basecamp to set to p/u to go orders.. not me I went up to visually see them.. ordered 4 .. and ate em, then returned to give my complaint "did not order enough, 4 more please" LOL!!  Carnitas to DIE FOR OMG !!  even got 3 burritos to go before they left. With so many taco trucks available, I never would have thought to try this place!However, I am pleasantly surprised by Tacos Hell Yeah. First of all, there plenty of space to park. Also, the location is super cute and seemed very clean. They have a large menu and definitely cater to vegetarians.I got the nachos vegetariano and a quesadilla. Tasted just like a taco truck! Both were about $5. So good.My boyfriend got a bunch of types of tacos. His favorite was for sure the Lengua. He said they were flavorful, and some of the best hes ever had. Came in on a Thursday night. Tried the enchiladas with green salsa which was delicious! My friend got steak tacos which were also good. They have green and red salsa both spicy and yummy. The also have pickled jalapeños which were also great. The only thing i didn't like was the pickled carrots they were really sweet. We moved out of state so when we were back for a visit, we were sure to hit up our fave taco place. The interior had been remodeled which was a pleasant surprise!  And the A/C was blasting which was also nice (we used to swelter in there!!!). The food seemed to taste even better. I am a street taco fanatic, this place has my favorite tacos hands down. Normally when eat tacos somewhere, there's something about it that doesn't make them quite right. Either the tortilla aren't good or the meat isn't seasoned well....but this place has the best tacos. I love the carne asada tacos, their asada is seasoned to perfection, giving the meat a delicious taste and the tortillas are soft . Burritos are just as delicious, I get a Burrito majado and the sauce on top is so delicious!! The prices here are outstanding as well, you pay cheap prices for delicious quality food and good service. I see nothing wrong here. OMG!! Tacos are so delicious! Im really picky when it comes to tacos and these were fabulous. I got Asada, Cabeza, Al Pastor and Carnitas, with everything, to go. All were very delicious. The meat was very juicy and they did not drown the meat in salsa. Also there green salsa is so flavorful. I work graveyard and its hard to find good food late and they are open kinda late 11pm. I went with my cousin yesterday and it was empty. It was my first time eating at this restaurant. I loved that it was empty and the inside is very nice. Pretty well kept and clean and different environment for a taco place. I usually get my tacos from the street taco trucks. So this was a first for me. Tacos, bikes, and rock n' roll. And tacos. So many tacos. This little gem is a gift to those of us in the Northridge area. The service is usually quick and they have the best horchata. I love the carne asada tacos and al pastor. Aside from the food quality, the aesthetic is also one reason why I continue to come here (despite the 15-minute drive). I love it!

Tried this place today since we were visiting my bf's dad and it was a couple blocks away! Food was pretty good, I ordered the burrito and taco lunch special ($8. 49). I chose carne asada for both and added guacamole (25¢ for tacos, 50¢ for burritos). It came with rice, beans, and chips as well. My bf ordered cheese enchiladas ($6.99) and 3 Al Pastor tacos ($1.39 each). We shared a large horchata ($2.39? I think and $1.99 for a medium) I loved the carne asada, it's seasoned very well and you can't beat the price!!! Bf always orders cheese enchiladas and al pastor tacos whenever we eat Mexican food. He said they were both good but would get the carne asada next time since he tasted mine and loved it! Horchata was bomb, too. It's huge for the price. The sauce bar is simple and not that big but did the job, had everything you need including red and green sauces, lime, onions and cilantro, & pickled carrots. Love the green and red sauces. I have a HUGE spice tolerance but the red sauce is pretty spicy, probably because I dumped a ton on my food lol. I love the heat though. They did forget to add guacamole to my burrito, which I didn't noticed until a couple bites in. They were very kind and gave us another large horchata for free for the inconvenience! :) it was more than fine with me since I was planning on getting a refill anyways and it's $2 more than my guac! My husband and I were craving tacos, and really don't have a go-to taco place in the Valley. We looked on Yelp and found this place and decided to go there because of it's Yelp reputation. It's a small place, clean, and has a nice salsa bar.  We placed our order, and sat for about 5-10 minutes before our food arrived. I ordered two tacos carnitas and two tacos al pastor. I always like to try tacos al pastor because it's one of my favorites but not all restaurants do it well. These were really good in flavor, only thing is there was quite a bit grilled onions topped with fresh onions and cilantro. Next time I order these, I would opt for no onions and cilantro. The carnitas tacos were really tasty, I enjoyed them. I had a taste of my husband's chorizo tacos, and it was really good. Some of the best Al Pastor in the valley hands down! Al pastor is my go to and it's not dry, hard and greasy like a lot of the "other" taco shops. The asada, carnitas, lengua and everything I've tried is fresh and delicious.  The Hell Yeah Fries are out of this world so order some and share. I love the salsa bar that's fresh and kept cold, the jalapenos and carrots are off the hook.  Service is fast and friendly and the place is always super clean.  Parking can be tricky during the lunch rush or on taco Tuesday but plan around it and it's a hit every time.  Just typing this made me hungry so I'm heading over there right now for a an al pastor burrito!
