Table 6 Cafe is a CoBid Certified, woman owned business.
I went here today during a convention nearby. Despite being pretty busy the wait was only about 10 minutes. I had the shrimp orzo with parmesan and prosciutto and a little spinach. I was very glad they didn't ruin it with onions. It was very tasty. The prosciutto was the highlight as it had a good flavor. The day was nice enough a lot of people were out on the patio. The people running things were very nice (perhaps the owners?). I will definitely go here again. More...
Good location, local & fresh food! Friendly they do lunch hours 11a-2p. Also, they offer catering!! I highly recommend this lovely cafe!!
Cindy is the best at putting together a plate to please! When she gets to know you, her customization and personalization of your food presentation always hits the mark. The best!
A good lunch spot, especially for those looking for an alternative to the not so great food at the convention center. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Prices are reasonable. It wasn't the quickest of places but the servers all seemed rather friendly. I had the turkey and pesto sandwich which was one of their specials today. It was pretty good though the bread wasn't great. More...
Just walked over from Oregon Convention Center. Really cute environment. Friendly service. More importantly, delicious l, fresh food. I ordered the chicken avocado salad. Really good food, hidden place. More...
Chef Cindy catered for my office and it was great! The office looked forward to her meals, that included something that everyone could enjoy. I appreciated the vegetables, the desserts, and everything in between. The way the food was laid out was beautiful, compliments to the chef! More...
Table 6 has been catering our work events at Portland State University for the past year and half and we have only had the most delicious and thoughtful catered meals! Cindy and Damon work tirelessly to ensure our catering is always on time, incredibly fresh, and with an amazing table set up. Cindy is always open to changes or minor edits to dishes to meet any dietary restrictions. We have several picky eaters to please with catered lunches, and Table 6 exceeds all expectations. The catering prices are fair, especially for the amount of food, it's presentation, and the flatware/dishes that are always included. Our department broke ties with Elephant's Delicatessen due to several errors and forgotten lunches and decided to use Table 6 for our primary catering services. It was the best decision we could have made. Using Table 6's services, we feel valued and cared for in a way that Elephant's never could have attempted. Table 6 is the spot for consistent high-quality service and delicious homemade food! More...
Great sandwich, friendly service
The service is amazing here. Kindness goes a long way, and with good food, I've hit the jackpot.
Great spot! The whole place was gorgeous, I'm a big fan of plants and they're everywhere. Beautiful flowers and herbs growing on their patio as well. The food was also great! I had an oyster po boy and my girlfriend had a burger (I forget which burger honestly). The sandwich was amazing, and the dirty rice it came with had a very home cooked feel to it. I think that sandwich was a special so I don't know if it's always available. The burger was awesome too. It did have a lot of mayo, but my girlfriend loved it. Something to keep in mind if you're not a mayo fan. Will definitely return. More...
Still waiting on food but menu prices are great and options all look yummy I'll update soon!! Owners, adorable married couple, are VERY friendly and super accommodating. Total thumbs up at this point.Added: I ordered the Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich...piles of turkey and fresh avocado along with a healthy dose of bacon on a super fresh warm bun...FANTASTIC!! Husband ordered an Italian Grinder, his first comment "Oh my God this is tasty"...I'll take this as a thumbs up cause he's a wee bit on the picky side More...
After spending a few hours at the Convention Center we were walking around and found this treasure. Two outstanding chicken caesar salad's were had on a utterly fantastic patio and top tier customer service and super friendly staff. it was a pleasure to have lunch here and we will definitely be back! Awesome food and a pleasant atmosphere.
Very friendly staff. Looks like a family business. You order your food at a counter and it's brought to your seat. The patio is awesome. Loved the craft beer selection.

Best Tuna Melt EVER. Bacon, cheddar and avocado on delicious grilled bread. Plus my favorite local Kombucha Townsend's Brew Dr. Yummmmm!
Attentive and pleasant employees. Very tasty lunch menu. Nice change from 'bring your own lunch' days. Price is usual for the area.
It was crowded beyond usual because of the convention in town. So the wait was around 35-40 minutes past the ordering. I ordered the hot Italian Grinder without ham with a side of fries. I got my tasty sandwich although with a side of chips. No complaints whatsoever. They did a good job of managing the crowd, keeping us informed of the wait time, and serving a very delicious lunch. Home made through and through! Huge fan and I'll be back!
Wow, just ate homemade pulled pork tacos! amazing.
No words necessary. Come try the food. Support small businesses. This one won't be small for long!
Fantastic and affordable. I'll be back! Next time I will eat outside. The staff is very pleasant too.
They don't just want to bring you food, they want to bring you joy ... and they are really good at it!
I love everything about Eleanora's cookbook. Not only is the food AMAZING the feeling of being with friends while you wait for your freshly made treasure of the day can't be beat.

It's not only convienent it's delicious! Excellent breakfast and lunch served by excellent people. Need I say more
Excellent sandwiches, and awesome specials. Had the ribs. Great lunch spot. Happy hour soon!
I came to this restaurant on accident walking around on a break and I am so glad I found it. I ordered the Turkey bacon avocado sandwich and kombucha on tap! It was super delicious. Food was really fresh and the patio was beautiful. I want to go back here for brunch. More...
Stumbled upon this lunch spot during a conference. I had the turkey bacon avocado - it was quite good! Good amount of ripe avocado, lots of turkey! Bread was toasted for a nice touch. They have many bottled drinks including Brew Dr. Kombucha, much to my delight. The cookie that my meal came with was perfectly soft and chewy. Staff was nice, service was quick! I'll certainly comeback for a lunch when I'm in the area again. More...
Sooooooooo look, but delicious! If you're looking for a quick bite, buyer beware! Service here as slowed down over the last few months. As of this writing, 3 simple sandwiches took almost a half hour to come out. The food here is great though and the service is friendly, but like I've mentioned, slow. More...
Dang, this was probably one of the best take out places I have been to that serves really delicious food. I got the vegetarian delight through the online system. It only took about 15 minutes and when i got there I was handed my food really quick and he even helped me switch my water bottle beverage to a kombucha! I really recommend this place if you want to sit down for a sandwich and soup or take out. More...
Great food! I had the basic turkey sandwich and it wad truly delicious. Surprisingly it came with a salad... prices are nice as well. I will be coming back
During my 5 days in Portland for work, I visited Table 6 for lunch three times; initially, I tried it because of its proximity to the convention center (a block and a half is easy) but the food is perfect for rainy day lunches. Warm soups, wonderful bowls, and sandwiches were spot on. I think the tuna melt was my favorite of everything, but I was never disappointed. The service was great; staff were polite and excited about their food. Perfect little getaway from the conference chaos. More...
YUMMMMMM!! This place is truly a gem. The daily special tuna melt was so FRESH and delectable! The potato salad and creamy pea soup were the perfect sides for the sandwich. Great place with great home cooking. Can't wait to come back and bring others! More...
They've added the ability to order over Yelp and it works like a charm! Fast, tasty, easy to do.
I love Table 6! This place is like family (they ARE a family, actually!) and the food is amazing. If you crave a home cooked meal at a fair price, look no further. They even make breakfast for dine in or pickup. Highly recommended gem in the Lloyd District! More...
SHHHHH!! Please don't tell my Grandma how much I love their potato salad, she will be upset. I mean she makes a good potato salad but this one is just perfect. I ordered on Uber eats for the first time and got a delicious chicken salad sandwich on white bread. Even the bread was awesome. I will definitely be ordering from them again. More...
Delicious healthy food close the convention center! High recommend the metro bowl for vegetarians. Note: portions are reasonably sized....not overwhelming but plenty of food for the price :) More...
Had lunch here while at an event at the OCC. They were busy, but not overwhelming so, plenty of places to sit. Everything on the menu sounded good, making the decision difficult. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked amazing, making it even more difficult. Ended up getting a Caesar salad. Waited a while, the guy had a hard time finding us where we sat (upstairs). The salad looked great and tasted great, excellent Caesar dressing. Don't know if they were out but I didn't get their house made croutons which I was bummed about. My coworkers club sandwich was huge! And looked delicious as well. I'll go back again to try a sandwich. Probably the best food in the area. Worth the walk if you're at the OCC- the food in there is absolute garbage. More...
Really nice food, very friendly service, useful location and a visually-interesting building. The only downsides are very limited hours and not much vegetarian options at this visit.
Great food, only a few minutes wait, and tasted delicious like my mom's home cooking. Have eaten here a few times and every time left satisfied, its really incomparable to getting fast food that is nearby.
Tasty lunch spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. Part of the Portland Metro complex but open to the public and is across the Metro Plaza. I have had both their sandwiches and salads which have been very good. More...
If you're at a conference or convention, you'll like this cafe that is only a couple blocks away from the main entrance of the Oregon Convention Center. They feature fresh made salads and sandwiches. It was quick and tasty and a great alternative to the other restaurants in the area.It was so pleasant to eat lunch on their patio too. More...
I love Table6! It is steps away from workplace, a constantly evolving space and menu keeps it interesting!
I've been coming to Table 6 since they were a cart on the Metro plaza in the summer of 2014! It's no surprise they won out the competition for the coveted little corner cafe space on the plaza later that year, as they've got a knack for serving up a wonderful variety of food that's always fresh and has that "home-cooked" quality. Chef Cindy has been doing this for a long time, and is a real pro, and Damon keeps the front counter humming. They're always helpful with questions about the menu and ingredients, and just really nice people! Expect a 10-15 minute wait during the busy lunch hour, but it's well worth it, and you can read the New York Times while you wait! (...also, be aware that during big conventions at the Oregon Convention Center, Table 6 can get overwhelmed -- best to just save it for another day if you happen to come when a small mob has also arrived..!)I pick up lunch at Table 6 three or four times a week, so it's hard for me to pick a favorite dish. So instead, I'll pick several! At the top of the list are Cindy's Sweedish meatballs, one of her rotating speciality items. Get 'em if you see that on the menu, as you'll also get a side of homemade mashed potatoes and lingonberry jam... mmm! Any of the Mexican specials are a good pick, too -- especially the taco salad. The Greek and Mideast specials are terrific, too. From the daily menu, the Metro Bowl is a great staple of rice, avocado and other goodies, and the Turkey & Avacado sandwich is a good everyday bet, too. If you're looking for salads on the daily menu, go for the Chef Salad -- huge and tasty! And if you're a cookie fiend like me, get a couple of Cindy's fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies for dessert - I can't begin to add the calories I've added to my diet by having two of these little treats with every lunch for the past year, but you only live once... and they're worth it! :-)One of the little secrets of the Metro cafe space is the little loft -- a bright and relaxing retreat in the Lloyd District. There are only a few tables in the loft section, so arrive by Noon if you're hoping for one. In summer, Cindy and Damon have several patio tables set up in the courtyard, surrounded by planters and shaded with umbrellas -- also a nice little escape from the rush of the district. If you are a business in the area, Table 6 also offers catering. We use them regularly at Metro, but I'm not sure if they have a limit on where they will cater -- ask them!Five stars for Table 6 - a nice little slice of keeps Portland wonderful for this native Portlander AND regular customer! So delicious! Everything is made in-house with fresh ingredients. Menu varies. Had the clam chowder & deluxe salad with bacon, avocado, nuts - delicious! You do more of your own table-waiting: get your own silverware, water, but as long as you are ok with the casual atmosphere, it's fabulous! What an amazing addition to the neighborhood! There are so few really great food places in the Lloyd district, and this one takes the cake for lunch. Wide variety on the menu, from daily specials (I had the meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy) as well as a nice selection of salads and sandwiches to choose from. My friend had the eggplant parmesan, and she said it was delicious. On a blustery day like today, it was nice to be able to add soup to our lunches for a reasonable price. Chef Cindy said everything is made fresh daily, and you can certainly tell. It is particularly nice to get a quick lunch that doesn't come on a paper plate with plastic forks. Thank you Table 6 for a fantastic meal and friendly service. More...
What an adorable little place! Came for lunch with a friend, had the eggplant parm...TO. DIE. FOR. Also had broccoli cheese soup, which is one of my favorites, but ALWAYS too salty when ordered out. It was NOT too salty! I could taste the broccoli, and the fresh chives and cheddar it was garnished with. I noticed that it seems to be a popular choice for the people who work in the office building it's connected to, and that they all took dishes and flatware with them (I assume they bring it back), and I thought what a great idea to cut down on waste! They also offered those customers tinfoil to put over their food since it was raining out, and I heard one staff member tell a lady to bring her tinfoil back with her dishes, and he'd make sure to recycle it.The staff was super friendly and knowledgable about the menu. In summary, this place just really gave me a great overall feeling. I will definitely be back! More...
Overall: Great restaurant and location (if you're here for the convention center, particularly). Just returned from a conference and it was fantastic!). Wonderful food - all with flavor (whoda thunk it!?). Food: My wife LOVED her greek plate (I don't recall all that it had - spanakopita, olives (I think), hummus & carrots/celery, some meat - and maybe more!).As always, I walked in and wanted a little of this and that and all of the options. Settled on pulled pork (I'm a southern boy at heart). Very good, slightly dry - but very good. The owner (I believe), or chef perhaps, spent some time talking with us about where they get their food (not locals, so we just smiled and nodded. Really good amount of food, particularly inexpensive and delicious (and healthy, too! Delicious, cheap, healthy, and mostly local - sounds like Portland to me!! Definitely would go back - and you should stop in, too! (Not far from the Convention Center Bus Line - couple of blocks over.)Notes: You should clear your tables at the end, there are stations around. Awesome place for some respite in the midst of metal and noises. There's even a back patio for people to utilize. You could use this place for a staff lunch/retreat (shorter, though) or a group outing for lunch (perhaps). It's like you've entered a meditation center that feeds your soul and stomach. Some of the answers below could be wrong - but as far as I can recall, these are all correct (re: parking, etc.).Great work! Delicious sandwiches!! Comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. This was a great find after a long morning at the convention center.
