T. Melvin Photography is an all around photography company ready to service your photographic needs!
The owner, Tatyana, a self taught photographer, has been photographing for about 10 years, and professionally for 3 years. Depending on what job we take on, I will occasionally hire a second shooter with better or equivalent experience and with the same camera brand (so that there is not much of a difference in the portraits), to help with the job!

Tatyana is punctual and professional. She knew how to harness the energy of our family group of 17 plus 2 dogs, to produce quality photos for us to cherish.

Tatyana is a professional. She was tasked with photographing my family of 17, plus dogs. She stayed calm, used humor, and produced photos that we will cherish forever.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret to taking a great photograph is attention to detail and thinking of things that most people do not. You have to have an eye for things that people don’t normally notice, like the hair bow on your wrist or your twisted necklace, etc.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What exactly are you looking to get photographed?
How many people are being photographed?
How many outfit changes would you like?
How many locations?
How many final edited images are you looking for?
What size prints would you like?
What do you love most about your job?
The thing I love most about my job is getting to capture the right moments and the traveling. I love coming home after a photoshoot or event that I photographed, look through the photos and be amazed at the unforgettable moments frozen in time.
What inspired you to start your own business?
For a while, I was living for other people. What inspired me to start my own photography business was that I was unhappy working for other people, living for other people. I decided that it was time to live for myself and create my own memories while creating others memories!
