Bookkeeping - We can complete all bookkeeping functions for your business – including tracking your monthly sales and expenses, generating financial statements, completing your government remittances (GST/HST, Payroll taxes, WSIB) and more. Services are offered on-site and off-site. We offer services for QuickBooks Desktop and Online, Sage, Xero and Microsoft Business Central.
Income Tax - Whether you are a student, a salaried employee, or you are self-employed, we will prepare your Canadian Personal Income Tax return to effectively maximize your deductions and minimize taxes payable. Synergy is a certified Electronic Filer with the Canada Revenue Agency. We also specialize in self-employed returns for many proprietors in an array of business categories.
Economic Loss - Economic loss means economic detriment consisting only of allowable expense, work loss, replacement services loss, and if injury causes death, dependent's economic loss and dependent's replacement service loss. Noneconomic detriment is not loss, but economic detriment is loss although caused by pain and suffering or physical impairment. We work with legal teams and insurance companies to assist with these cases from the financial point of view.

What inspired you to start your own business?
After working for many years in an accounting/management role at a corporate level, Sarah decided it was time for a new challenge and that came in the form of starting Synergy Tax & Business Solutions Inc. For several years she offered services to friends and family who needed tax and bookkeeping services, and as that client base grew, the team started to grow. Today we are a strong group of accounting professionals who work together to best satisfy the needs of our clients. It is with great pride and determination that we continue to grow into new offices and offer top-notch service in new cities.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have gone to "by appointment only" at our office so we can sanitize between clients. For some clients, we have moved their service online so they email or submit via online file share software's so there is no need for being physically in our office.
