I've never had a bad experience in a Sweetberry Bowls, and I'll just add the East Brunswick location to the list of locs to love. I had a work event super close by and wanted to be in the area and find a place to just get work done. Instead of a coffee shop, I thought this would be a cool place to stop in. So happy I did! I got the Hermosa Acai Bowl (added the coconut flakes on my own) and officially decided that honey is the most perfect drizzle. Sorry to all the nutella lovers out there. The Hermosa bowl had an acai base, blueberries, strawberries, granola and honey. Perfect bowl! Highly recommend it if you are looking for a bowl that isn't too sweet. The space is big with lots of tables and a section with couches and even a giant connect four board, complete with a neon sign to make everyone swoon. It's actually really flippin' cute here. Heard really good things about this place so I decided to give it a try. There was no one in the store, when I first entered, so it was a little bit of a disappointment. I always feel weird going to a restaurant and it's just me. The food though definitely changed my mind. I got the Hermosa bowl, which was acai with granola, strawberry. blueberry, and honey. It was delicious. I really liked the sweetness of the acai. The fruit tasted probably the most fresh I have ever tasted. The honey gave the fruit a lot of great sweetness, and the granola was nice and crunchy. My smoothie, I was not as impressed. I got the Purple Jungle smoothie, which is strawberry, banana, acai, blueberry, and apple juice. To me, it just tasted like a regular strawberry banana smoothie.. It didn't really taste like anything special. It was still good, though. There was only one person working in the store, so she could only work on one thing at a time. This place is SUPER cute inside. Wow. For aesthetic alone, this location deserves a 5. They really put effort into everything from the super cool, neon sign that says "No Bad Days". . to the huge Connect Four game that my whole family enjoyed playing while we waited for our orders. When we walked in, the employee did not look like he wanted to be bothered.. no smile, no welcome to Sweetberry, almost an annoyed look on his face. Not the best first impression. He did warm up a bit once we didn't give him attitude back. He let us sample different bases.. really love the acai--sweet and tart. My husband and I ordered the PBJ smoothie, while my 6 year old got a fruit bowl with acai base topped with strawberry, banana, and blueberries, drizzled with honey.. My only suggestion is to create a menu for the kids... that bowl could have fed three of her and at $10 was a bit pricey.. Honestly, the prices are a tad bit too high. I know you're getting fresh nutrition, but $25 for 2 smoothies and a fruit bowl was a little much.The smoothie was good and her bowl was really tasty. Very nice place, and convenient destination for neighboring residents. Also, right on rd 18, so easily accessible for travelers.
Clean and spacious. I think it should, and can expand the variety to offer some hot beverages, and warmer bowls... or is it winter that makes me wish that?
Update: apparently the ownership of the place is quite responsive to customers' suggestions, so definitely deserves an additional star (hence 5 at the moment)... too bad I won't be able to upgrade my rating to 6 stars in the future ;o)

Really nice spot to go for a casual lunch. I am a huge fan of their açaí bowls (typically I always get a Sweetberry Bowl), but I wanted to try a salad. I ordered The Baja with chicken. It came with a kale and spring greens mix, quinoa, black beans, corn, pico, cheddar, jalapeño, tortilla strips, and Lime vinaigrette dressing. I should have taken a picture before I started eating but . It was great. The dressing was awesome and a much better option than always the chipotle ranch that some other places offer. I was super happy with my choice. I heard that they might start doing wraps soon too which would be awesome!! Definitely a place to check out. I'm so glad they put one here, there are no good places to eat around here that are healthy. I got the salad with chicken it was more than I bargained for. The portion seemed to be overwhelming, I ended up eating the remainder for dinner. This is now the second time I've been in this location the sweetberry bowl is always amazing.
