Working with Sarah was such a pleasure! My husband hates getting his photos taken and our toddler CANNOT sit still. So I was a little anxious walking into our session. I was immediately put to ease when we met her. She was so laid back and let us do our thing and she was just there for the ride. She provided direction when we needed it, but was truly just there to capture all of our crazy moments. Sarah is so responsive, easy to talk to, was flexible with what we wanted, and our session was only 30 minutes long. She had our photos edited and sent to us MUCH quicker than I anticipated, and she gave us a couple extra images than what we were expecting. And she was affordable! Sarah is absolutely impressive! We're from WA and made arrangements to get photographed by her while we're in town.Although we ended up canceling, her customer service was amazing the whole way through. We canceled because on issues on our end and she was very gracious.She kept in touch with us throughout the month we booked her.The only thing I would suggest for an impr would be to add a phone number.Besides that, I think she's going places in life. Sarah is amazing!!!!! A few days before my child's birthday party I was frantically looking for a photographer. I sent a message to Sarah and she responded quickly. The day of the party she arrived early to capture pictures of our guests as they arrived. She has a great spirit. People asked if she was one of my friends because of how naturally connected with everyone while still being professional. She captured all of the special moments so we could all enjoy each other without having to pull out our phones to take pictures. After the party she stayed connected and updated me on her progress with editing the photos. She gave me an accurate estimate on when I would be receiving the final product. Let me just tell you.... I met Sarah when I was living in Maryland and started my photography business. A model I was working with told me about her work and I thought it was gorgeous. I used her for my family photos. We ended up being really great friends. She is super fun and very professional. I asked her to work on a couple weddings with me and I loved her wedding shots. She's a very talented photographer. She's actually way better than I when it comes to kids too. I always turned down family shoots and sent clients to Sarah. When my husband and I got married I booked her right away. Sarah Sarah Sarah....We are just blown away with this young woman's TALENT! Sarah is a real artist. Her work is tasteful, unique, daring, timeless and full of raw emotion.

Not a single photo we got back from her looked uncomfortable or posed, which is EXACTLY what we wanted! Of course it helps that it was the happiest day of our lives, but don't chock it up to that. You need Sarah to capture it. For instance, she also did our engagement photo-shoot. We were NOT excited to do an engagement shoot...we aren't used to being in front of a camera like that. But Sarah made it fun and sweet and in the photos...it looks like we're on cloud nine!

Sarah arrived on time, and was so accommodating. 90% of my hard work for the wedding was put into my DIY decorations (the other 10% of my hard work was staying away from donuts)...so I asked her to spend some time in the empty decorated venue before she met up with us, so she could snap still photos of all of the decor. She did. She's awesome. Our wedding photos are so fun to look through- all smiles, all laughter, all beautiful. Never a dull moment, and she caught them all.

Brides, you know you're going to look stunning on your wedding day IRL, but the wrong photographer can ruin that in photos. Sarah captures the bold colors in your bouquet and your eyes, she snaps you in your most flattering angles (she'll tell you to re-position if you're not doing yourself any favors), and you can look back later and see PROOF of how gorgeous of a bride you are. Sarah Faison is an up and coming photographer! She has so much talent and I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up as a top fashion photographer one day! Her shots were very artistic and they came out well. She used to be based in the MD/DC area but she's since relocated to Virginia Beach, VA. I understand she does travel for shoots though. She really captured some lovely moments. It rained on my wedding day, and we couldn't get any outdoor shots. That's a shame because Sarah is amazingly talented when it comes to shooting outdoors. My engagement pictures were amazing as were my boudoir shots. The only reason I'm not giving her 5 stars across the board is because I think she should've used more photo shopping and other editing software to make the pictures and their subjects look perfect. Sarah was one of the most valuable pieces of my whole wedding. She captured my most favorite moments with a talent and trained eye that is hard to find without paying at least double. Her photos were beautiful and flawless and caused my jaw to drop repeatedly as I went through them.

Her editing was just the right amount (clean and soft but without changing anyone's appearance drastically because really who wants that? That's what the gym is for, not the photog). My day was overcast, which ended up being a positive because Sarah used the grey sky to give the photos a dream-like quality which really captures the feel of what I felt that day. The images are timeless and the quality was high enough for me to blow up an image on a huge wall canvas, which has been complimented by all who have seen it.

I couldn't recommend Sarah more highly. I sooner would have chosen another groom than have had to leave Sarah out of my wedding. More...

When I first saw Sarah's work, I knew that she had to be our wedding photographer! I am now thrilled with the results. When we returned home from our honeymoon, the DVD of our wedding photos (over 1,000 of them! ) was in our mail box waiting for us. Sarah captured absolutely every moment throughout the entire day. Family and friends who could not make it to the wedding have said that they feel as if they were there after seeing our album.

Well, let me start out by saying HOW AMAZING Sarah is! At the time I wasn't able to find a photographer I wanted for my wedding. I was so afraid I would never be able to find that perfect photographer to capture my big day. But, after looking at a few photos of a friend of mine on Facebook. I realized I was also looking at a wedding photographer. Sarah has a unique way of capturing images. An amazing way of telling a story through her work. She was quick to reply to my email, quick to answer any CRAZY question or idea I had, & most of all willing to help my dream of having beautiful images captured for my big day. Sarah NOT only traveled from Maryland for my wedding day. But also traveled here to Virginia Beach to capture my engagement images. You see I'm NOT one to put myself in front of the camera. But Sarah had a way about her that made me feel special & beautiful on my wedding day. Sarah was also quick to send me ALL of my wedding images. But not only that... She was willing to make sure I was happy with all I got. There isn't a day that I don't look back and smile at my wedding images. You see I believe that is how your wedding images should be.
