We stopped at a local hotel for the night and needed to get takeout as we didn’t want to leave our dogs alone in the room. We called in the order and one of us went to pick it up. The food was hot, portions great for the price, order accurate, appropriate and adequate condiments. The food was fantastic. We enjoyed the meal - shrimp skewers over rice with 2 sides, & hush puppies for me and the philly steak & cheese & fries for my husband. So much better than having to get fast food. Overall I was impressed! Great taste, the green beans were delicious and mashed potatoes with gravy were excellent. The fried chicken tasted extremely good but was a little cold and you could tell it had been fried a while back. If they start serving fresh fried chicken they easily get the fifth star. I had the fried green tomatoes and the sauce. The sauce is delicious, you dont need it for the tomatoes. I also ordered the chicken and shrimp fettuccine alfredo and it was delicious.
