I cannot recommend Steve enough ! The booking system is awesome and I got an appointment in less time than I expected. Steve turned up on time maintained a high level of cleanliness and was extremely thorough. To top it off he’s a very interesting guy to chat to who is clearly passionate about his trade and giving an excellent service to his customers. Steve visited us to inspect and sweep our chimney, in preparation for using an open fire. We have never used an open fire so he gave us some excellent advice. His whole approach was professional and efficient. He decided to manually sweep the chimney, which was done after lots of preparation to ensure the process was as clean as possible. After a recommendation from my sister (an ex colleague of Steve’s), I phoned and arranged for Steve to sweep our chimney. Our wood burning stove is relatively new (3 years almost) but we thought it best to get it swept this year . Steve arrived promptly and was very polite and friendly. He gave us the run down on what he would be doing and why and assessed our set up ensuring we had the relevant safeguards in place, ie carbon monoxide detector, air vent, cowl on the chimney stack etc. He proceeded to do a thorough job of cleaning the chimney and the stove itself.
