Russell and all at capers catering all deserve medals! They recently catered our July wedding at swallows oast and did an INCREDIBLE job!
I have never heard so many compliments about wedding food in my life! Our profiterole tower blew my mind it was a total piece of art! The food just kept coming and coming all day and all the waitresses could not do enough. I wish we could get married again just so we could try everything that we missed whilst we were off being a bride and groom! Thank you again.

Well what can we say Swallows Oast just felt right for the setting and ambiance for our wedding. We are very much country people and to find this little gem of a beautifully converted barn set in beautiful surroundings was just amazing. Mark couldn’t have done more for us to make sure our day went as smooth as possible. The Chefs we’re just amazing with our food they took everything into account that we wanted with the food and it was just divine, from the canapes to dinner and the evening BBQ. Everyone commented on the barn and the food and would highly recommend. My now wife is a florist and her words are " I dress many venues for weddings and hand on heart can honestly say that the team at Swallows are incredibly professional helpful and a joy to work with" Thank you all the team at Swallows More...

What a beautiful venue for a wedding! My best friend got married here on May 4th 2018. The whole day start to finish was perfect. The bridal suite they have on site is stunning, we stayed there the eve of the wedding, and loved getting ready there in the morning! The staff were so helpful and accommodating throughout the day, and always on hand when we had questions. The set up both inside and outside looked beautiful, and the food was delicious - I had the "Mrs" menu, which was deep fried brie, a cajun chicken burger and banoffee pie. The staff and chef did amazingly. I never had to wait for a drink, and spent most of the evening on the dancefloor! Thank you to Swallows Oast for making my friends special day flow so smoothly! Enjoyed a great wedding here, food was all laid on well with great service. Plenty of choice in a wedding buffet and evening BBQ for all. Space was good with the additional marquee and weather made the outside area perfect for relaxing with some fizz!! More...

we are writing a response to the review on the wedding on the 4th May 2018.
This was clearly from a guest, but these are some of the comments from the bride:
"I just wanted to say a massive thanks to you all for everything you did to make sure our day run smoothly on Friday. the venue was perfect and everything looked so much better than i pictured. everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was. we were so happy we got married outside and the food throughout the day was amazing."
"I have already apologised to a member of your catering team at the end of evening but i would like to apologise again with regards to one of the comments a guest made to a special meal request. he is beyond fussy and in hindsight wouldn't have been happy with anything we gave him.
the food was absolutely brilliant and everyone was commenting on the cod goujons and the sticky toffee. i'm gutted as i never got a chance to eat any of the pizza but i heard it was great too."

A beautiful wedding and party venue comprising a modernised oast barn with paved terrace and gravelled outdoor areas, surrounded by acres of countryside including a small lake and a secluded wooded area.
Food is generally good, and a heated marquee is available for larger parties.
