My ageing Marantz CD player successfully repaired. Issues with availability of replacements for obsolete components and spades full of patience on their part eventually gave me a great outcome. They also honoured a fixed price quotation to fix. Be confident of good service More...

He spent a fair bit of time sorting the snapped electrical board in our radio which he didn't think he'd be able to fix, but he persisted and we've walked away with our radio fully working again! A very reasonable price and quick turnaround. Many thanks! More...

I took my eBay bought PS4 into store as it had developed the "blue light of death". They were extremely honest with me, which I really appreciated - no point in sugar coating it. Turns out I'd been cheated! They did a temporary fix for free for me, and advised me to get my money back. They were so helpful, talking me through the issue in as simple terms as possible. Would definitely go to them again! More...

Bought an old Skoda radio cassette player and needed a decode so it would work in my car. The radio cassette was a low value item but SVTS did excellent work on it. Chris even advised me that the code could be deleted so that it wouldn't need coding when the 12v power was interrupted after car battery replacement. Great service . More...

Absolutely stellar service. I rang up to arrange to bring my elderly television in, and when I described the problem, Paul told me what the issue was likely to be, and what it would be likely to cost to put right. When I brought it in, he looked at it for less than a minute, saw that it was in 'deep standby', turned it on for me, explained what had happened and why, and refused to take any payment. He also offered me a free second-hand remote control. I chose to bring my telly there because of the brilliant reviews he had received, and he definitely deserves every one of those positive reviews. Although there was nothing actually wrong with my telly, it's not something I could have done myself, and I would have been perfectly happy to pay him for his expertise, but he wouldn't take anything. I'm completely delighted, and recommend him wholeheartedly. He clearly knows his stuff and it's fantastic to find someone who could have taken the telly in and charged a lot of money, but didn't. I'd give him ten stars if I could. More...

I took my Mazda 6 Sport to our local dealer as I had lost all sound from my speakers. I spoke to one of the Audio Technicians who checked all the fuses, which were fine, to which he then said he wasn't sure what it could be and I better get my car booked in but if it was the Bose Amp that had failed i'd be looking at around £900.
.Luckily I found SVTS online. After a quick chat they said it would 100% be the circuit board in the amp which they could repair for £160 including return postage..Well Happy..Piece of cake to remove the amp from under the passenger seat. All up and running again within a week..Thank You so much for a great service

After establishing it is likely my Mazda 3 Bose amp at fault (popping like a rifle or machine gun through speakers & no other sound), Mazda wanted £600 for a new amp or offered to send it off to a good car audio place for a £260 repair. I found these guys who specialise in the repair of Bose car amplifiers & they sorted it for a lot less. The process of sending the unit off was straightforward & Chris was very helpful. Fitted the unit back in my car 10 minutes ago & all is good! More...

Took a water damaged Bose amp and ancillaries from my Audi A6 in for repair. No sharp intake of breath and the usual shaking of head from them. Immediately said amp normally repairable and other items should be ok. That is exactly as it turned out. Terrific service all round .Polite informative staff. Many thanks More...

In the process of renovating a 1980s car and needed to repair a correct period cassette player radio. Was some what apprehensive if the replacement stereo radio was repairable however had nothing to worry about. Chris was both professional and extremely helpful, managed to repair the unit and was very reasonable. Can't recommend this business enough, very good service indeed. More...
