What do you love most about your job?
The sense of satisfaction helping real people achieve their goals and meet their needs - i would much rather help a working man be able to retire without having to choose between food and heating over winter, than help a millionnaire buy a 3rd yacht!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I set up (and still own) the largest provider of technical reports for financial advisers in the country - we write letters and reports for over 800 advisers nationally, so have seen the good, bad and ugly of the industry, and it seemed a natural fit to take the best of the practices, and be able to roll those into a single package to advise people ourselves.
