Services

At Sustainable Empowerment, located in Hammersmith London I offer depression counselling to those who perceive life as being a dark room with no light. As having in-depth knowledge about human psychology I perceive depression to be an extremely serious form of mental condition that can have a negative impact on your relationships and life.

At Sustainable Empowerment, in Hammersmith London I can help people who are going through serious relationship problems. The most heart wrenching experience for a person can be if they are having difficulty in finding fulfilment in their relationships. As human beings we have an absolute right to be happy and secure in harmonious, healthy and trusting relationships. But for many of us this may seem a remote possibility and our relationships may feel a never ending struggle to gain a sense of security, understanding, acceptance and emotional satisfaction.

As being a cognitive behavioural therapist I have come to realise that having a low self-esteem, fear of social interaction and anxiety management are issues that are closely intertwined. This is because one of these issues has the ability to feed the other. I strongly believe that these conditions are not inherent in us and their origin can always be traced back to a trauma that we faced in the past, and no longer remember. Conditions such as low self-esteem, anxiety and social interaction problems could have materialised due to a single event or a series of traumatic events that have deeply affected us and we want to push them away.

At Sustainable Empowerment located in Hammersmith, West London, I support those who are suffering from bereavement and grief to help them regain control of their life. There can be many reasons why you would be in need of bereavement and grief counselling. People usually suffer from bereavement if they have experienced the death of someone dear to them. Dealing with the death of a close relation such as parents, spouse, child or a friend might be extremely difficult, painful and heart wrenching. You might also find it difficult to adjust to the big changes happening in your life. Grief can shake up your whole being including your personality, beliefs and sometimes your sense of reality.

At Sustainable Empowerment, in Hammersmith London I provide support to those who are suffering from anger management problems. There are many factors that can trigger anger in a person. Some of these can be due to certain personal experiences in their life. In my career I have noticed that anger mostly occurs when an individual feels insulted, frustrated or deceived. Although, anger can sometimes be beneficial as it can help you to release tension and excessive energy. However, anger can pose a problem when it becomes excessive and takes control over you. Anger will not only be a threat to our health but it can also disturb our relationships with others. Therefore, I believe in order to deal with this negative pressure that is building inside us we need to find its actual source and then direct it into positive channels.

At Sustainable Empowerment, I offer my support to people who are in need of psychodynamic counselling by helping them achieve a better insight into their thought processes. I help them understand the reasons for their confusion, frustration, anger and sadness.
