We've been with suremove for almost 6 years now and all was OK until a + year reporting a leak from upstairs bathroom leaking to the downstairs toilet ceiling ( cannot use the light as it is a hazard ), downstairs toilet leaking and different contractors came and said the same thing, toilet needs changing its old ( the toilet was not new when we moved in 2018 ) wear and tear. January 2024 Stacie told us that we broke the toilet, challenged that and we were told my kids broke the toilet, challenged that and we were told our visitors broke the toilet. It means we do not know how to use a toilet. Stacie was very rude telling me that we are dirty ( someone you have never met nor come check the house ). Had to involve the council and they advised us to ask for the landlords contact details and communicate straight with him/her, suremove refused to give us. We now received an email from Stacie saying we will be given section 21 if we do not respond with the money or plan in 14 days and we have also been threaten with debt collectors.We told suremove we are not going to pay for the toilet because we have been reporting it for more than a year and that it was not new when we moved in June 2018. Only one window opens in our main bedroom asked for the window key forever, have mould in the bedroom and when I reported it I was told to wash it with cilit bang, but it still comes up again. We ended up painting to hide it. Downstairs toilet window doesn't lock , a person can just pull it and enter the house. The lounge window only one window opens. Got a call from the council saying that suremove said they have fixed everything. The toilet that was done in January 2024 still not fully done. PLEASE, for the sake of your own sanity, AVOID THIS LETTINGS AGENT! I read all the reviews before moving in (because I had no choice and it was last minute) and I can say that all the negative reviews are TRUE. Sure Move is operating unlawfully, they are unprofessional in every sense of the word and they should not be in business. As soon as I moved in, I could not wait to leave. The property was in the worst possible state you could imagine and most certainly NOT suitable for anyone to live in. Dirt everywhere, cobwebs, cracks in the walls, smelt of weed and the front door had a big hole in it so the draft kept coming through (all throughout winter). My room was no better. On day one, it was dirty, the walls were full of marks and scratches, the white paint was discoloured, the bathroom I couldn’t use it because it was that dirty, the sink was leaking and most importantly the room did not look like the room in the photos they sent me on the room confirmation document prior to moving in. Half the items were not included and the chest of drawers/bedside table were not a matching set as shown in the pictures. I mention this because now that I have left and upon their “inspection” of the room, they claim that I am liable for their purchase of a brand new matching set for the chest of drawers and bedside table. Absolutely ridiculous. Why would I pay them for a brand new set when 1) it was never a matching set when I moved in and 2) these items were NOT brand new. They had cracks, marks and all sorts of wear and tear on them. They took my deposit of £125 and want me to pay an extra £178 for their new matching set?! I think not. I won’t be paying for what I am not liable for. I left the room in the best condition I could, better than how I found it. I will end up suing them for breach of contract and pursue damages because they have been extremely unreasonable. Their unreasonable conduct will get them into a lot of trouble. WORST LIVING EXPERIENCE AND AGENTS I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED! Please do not ignore the bad reviews, I did and I regretted it. This agency break the laws. After failing to deal with structural issues in the house they were managing, they sent false documents to the new managers claiming checks were carried out when, as the person living in the house, i know for a fact they weren't carried out because I am living in a house with no electricity and part of the "checks" was an electrical safety check. Even upon moving into a dirty house, they sent documents saying the house was recently cleaned and in a condition that was completely different to what i moved into while claiming those checks were done ONE DAY before i moved in. You did checks one day before my move-in date and no one noticed the rug listed in the inventory wasn't even in the house? That's a pretty big thing to miss. I hope they read this so they know that I am still planning to sue them for personal damages even though they handed the problem over to someone else. More...

Stay a million miles away from this agency. They have no morals whatsoever. They will house you with Tennants who will pose a threat to your safety. In my case I was living with a Tennant who was incredibly unstable, barged into my room regularly stating that he would "kill" me. They will then make you liable for all sorts of things at the end of your tenancy and attempt to extort money off you teaming up with Reposit. They will claim you broke things and charge you for disposal of items which don't belong to you. If you don't cooperate with them extorting you, they will send you threatening emails regarding court action and impact on your credit score. Just to reiterate please steer clear of suremove, they are a dangerous organisation who put Tennants at risk physically, emotionally and financially. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Absolute shocking agency, please no one ever use sure move. I wouldn’t even give them a 1 star if I didn’t have to. For months I have watched my partners mental health deteriorate because of this shambles of a company. They have done nothing but cause her stress and have her live in mouldy unacceptable conditions. They have had people enter her room, take pictures of her personal belongings on MULTIPLE occasions, this is without any warning or notice that a random person would be in the property. They have let a man come in and try open her own personal bedroom door while we have been asleep in bed. UNACCEPTABLE. They have left her living in a flooded bedroom TWICE, told her she flooded her own bathroom on purpose, RIDICULOUS. There’s mould growing up the walls, in the carpet and all over her clothes, of course sure move are not bothered because it would cost them money. My partner has sent them multiple emails about them breaching the contract and they have nothing to say about it. Avoid! These people do not care about the tenants well being and safety. An incident happened with another tenant I had to get the police involved and move out. I did tell sure move they didn’t seem to care all and only wanted their rent money! They don’t even clean the rooms before letting them out to other tenants or do any DBS checks!!! Avoid this company !!! They will lie about everything, harrass you. If by any chance you still get stuck with them. Do take all the pictures of the property and ask them to fix any damages to the property before taking keys. Because once they will hand over the key by saying they will do it later. Avoid this agency like the plague! They are rude and untrustworthy. They let a group of us move into a property where the landlord hadn’t paid off debts with letters left in the house to prove and left us with no electric or heating for the first two weeks of living there. There was no compensation paid to us from the full month rent we paid for those two weeks. This was winter time too! They will also try get any money then can out of you and leave you to figure out house issues on your own until it was “necessary” for them to send someone out to you. Also take pictures of EVERYTHING when you first move in because they believed a bad paint job done prior to moving into the property to cover dampness was done by us and charge you for it. They will try say the pictures before you move in didn’t have the paint marks but these were clearly pictures of the property from years ago if that’s the case.
