Q&As

We provide core transactional, operational accounting services including:
- Accounts Payable and Vendor Management (1099 reporting, etc.)
- Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, and early-stage collections
- Month end close with audit-ready financial statements (every account on the income statement and balance sheet is reconciled)
- HR administrative help (annual enrollment, partnering with Payroll Services Providers, etc.)

Accounting is fundamentally about record-keeping, the math is important, but it's not the hard part. Keeping good books and records helps eliminate the confusion and guesswork about where you are making money and where you are not. It helps you when you need financing or you want to sell your business.

A good accountant communicates with you (they are not just there at tax time or once a year), they have good business acumen and understand where you might need help, they can also provide you with business insights about where you are competitive and where you are not.

Providing people with advice and leveraging my background to help them solve problems.

I grew tired of large bureaucracies and wanted to use my professional expertise to help out the local business community in my home town. I also didn't want to move to a larger metro area and it made sense to me that rather than relying solely on one company, I should be spreading my income over multiple companies.

I have over 20 years experience helping to manage large, small, domestic and international businesses. Unlike some accountants, I've actually run businesses besides my practice. I also have extensive experience underwriting different businesses for lending purposes, so I know what success looks like and what risks can sometimes sink a small company.
