I met Lucy of Supernova Faces at the 1st birthday of a Trampoline Park in October 2018, and always kept her in mind for when I could book her for my own event or party. Fast forward to September 2022, birthday party with 30 children in attendance. Supernova Faces is exquisite quality for children AND grown up’s. Lucy is professional, personable, patience, very accommodating and super creative. The time taken is perfect for each design with children waiting very little time between each face and design. The colours are unlike any face paints of old, they pop and glitter is used also. The colours are sharp and vibrant and look as though they glow. The children were spoiled for choice; superhero’s, princess’s, flower power, animals. Some children went back for glitter tattoos and many said it was the best party ever and that they didn’t want to take the face paints off for days because it looked so good. Thank you for bringing the glitz, glitter and face painting glamour, all at such short notice. You are the talk of the town amongst the children and friends. I cannot recommend you enough! More...

What do you love most about your job?
I love transforming children - and adults - knowing that you can indulge their fantasies just for a day as it's all totally washable. A big highlight is seeing their faces light up at that "mirror moment", when they get to see that their wish has come true!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own business by a book from the library called How To Get A Job You Love. It's transformed my life, and I'm pleased to say that I DO love my job as a face painter. It's so exciting to be following my dreams and my passion for creativity and artistry. I love colour, glitter, and children (I have three), so this business is a perfect fit.
