We used superior sounds for our wedding. From beginning to end, John and Marquis (Biscuit) were professional and courteous. They kept the party going all night and played every request we had! Dance floor was packed and they made sure that they had the correct pronunciations for all of the names. My groom and I were a little slow getting them some information but they were able to accommodate all of our requests. I couldn't have picked a better DJ service!!! Using Superior Sounds for our wedding was one of the best choices we made. Biscuit and John provided us with an experience that made our day even better than we could have expected. An important aspect for our wedding was having a great dance floor. With Superior Sounds, this was achieved with overwhelming success. For the entire night, people were having a great time. On top of providing a great energy with music and dancing, their uplighting was absolutely amazing. We picked our venue because we thought it was beautiful, but the uplighting made it even better than we anticipated. We could not recommend a better wedding DJ. Superior sounds saved my  life when I was in a bind with my sound equipment. I was opening a luxury brand in the Woodbury Commons but we failed to hire someone to install our music. I called Superior Sounds, explained to them my dilemma and within the day they were in my store hooking up my system. I have to say they were the best part of my store opening. Marquis came in, he knew what to do and even went out of his way to buy me new equipment more suited for what my needs were. He was able to explain to my staff and I how to work it seamlessly and said if I needed support he would be there. He actually had to come back to help two days after when the contractors messed up his installation to reinstall it.One of the most professional, courteous and cool companies I have worked with. I just recently threw a party at a large estate and Superior Sounds were amazing and exceeded my expectations immensely! DJ BISCUIT was not only fun and personable but professional as well, his setup was minimalistic, clean and beautiful especially with the colored LED lights! He turned the home into a nightclub and my guests had such a good time thanks to him. It's the complete opposite of a "cheesy DJ" and he also knew how to read the crowd's reactions and play according to what the people liked, which is difficult to find in DJs! He did all of that and was energetic the entire time from start to finish without being overbearing. I was just so impressed by everything and I'm used to throwing large scale parties so this was really a nice surprise and more than I expected. I interviewed (and ultimately hired) Superior Sounds to DJ my wedding based on the reviews listed here, and I must say that all of the fine things listed here are completely accurate. From our first phone call until our reception ended, Marquis and his team were consummate professionals. This cannot be overstated. Every phone call, meeting, and scheduled event happened exactly when and how it was supposed to happen. John and Marcus were wonderful DJs they queued the music perfect for our ceremony, we had uniquely different songs to be played during the ceremony and they were able to find all of our songs for the processional, reading and recessional music! Superior Sounds and Marquis especially could not have been a better choice for our wedding. The music selections were amazing, the transitions seamless and he was able to read the room to keep the music going with what our guests enjoyed. It poured on our wedding day and they helped set up outdoor things and just lent a hand as needed. He was professional and kind and noninvasive (which is exactly what we wanted). Fantastic and super professional! I never write reviews, but I had to make an exception in this case. I just rented audio equipment from Marquis for my wedding in Germantown, NY and everyone from Superior Sounds went out of their way to make sure everything went perfectly. The equipment was great and they delivered everything, set it all up, then even came back the next day and moved everything for us so we could use it again the next night. Until I found these guys, I was considering renting equipment from places in NYC or New Jersey because I could not find anything else closer. That would have cost me 8 times as much as Superior Sounds charged me and would have been way more inconvenient. These guys are the best! More...

John and Marques were FABULOUS and went well beyond what most DJs would do.
They provided high quality equipment for the ceremony, the reception and the afterparty. We are a dancing crowd and they kept the dancing going for hours. John MCed and he was great, not cheesy at all when he made announcements. They are a pleasure we invited them to stay and party with us for the after-party (we had friends and the groom DJ). No worries about anything technical - it was supposed to hail and they had everything ready for the worst - then it ended up being clear so we were all happy!

Superior Sounds did an amazing job at our wedding-- they listened to everything we wanted (And didn't want), and did an amazing job-- We got so many compliments on our DJ! From the first meeting with John, we knew he would be our DJ for our wedding- He listened to what we needed, and asked lots of questions to get a feel of exactly who we were.
