Superior Gymnastics has been a wonderful experience for our family. My 8 yo daughter has been on the competitive team at SG since last May (we moved from another gym in the area). She has grown stronger physically and mentally and loves the sport and is always eager to go to practice. The coaches here love the sport and sincerely care about the gymnasts. The facility itself is great imo. It has separate sides for recreational/competitive gymnastics giving all the gymnasts the room they need. There is something for everyone here- fun recreational classes (all ages and levels), different types of competitive teams (STAR, Xcel, USAG compulsory and optional), birthday parties, track out and summer camps, parents' night out, and open gym to name a few. I appreciate that there is an open door to check in with the coaches and owner about my daughter and her progress/goals, and that they are supportive of her activities beyond the gym. There are fun extras for the competitive team too- a buddy system between the gymnasts for support/encouragement, holiday celebrations, community service opportunities, etc. This gym is a special place to our family and I recommend it to anyone interested in gymnastics. This is an amazing gym to have an experience of a lifetime. As the girls are given fantastic support and important coaching- they have the opportunity to grow as a gymnast. The team building, personal growth and friendships made are so important for our daughter's life journey. The environment is a great balance between striving for the best of their individual ability and continuing the path of progress. We transitioned gyms not even a year ago and my daughter has grown leaps and bounds. Before we made the move to Superior my daugter was at a point where she didnt want to go to her workouts at all. She wasn't smiling in the gym anymore. During the first week at Superior her smile was back. She couldn't wait to go to the gym. To this day she is still smiling and loves being there. The coaches are amazing. They push the girls with positive reinforcement. They take time with the parents sharing information about the girls progress. I would recommend Superior to anyone. Great gymnastics center, plenty spacious, a lot of equipment. Easy to get to, right off Aviation Parkway, between RDU and MVL, close to N Raleigh. We really liked the courses for advanced girls, they also have a competitive level for girls who have advanced past recreational but not quite ready for the big commitment for travel competitive team (Superior Stars, something Gymcarolina did not offer!) We did this program for 2 years, practices twice/ week, plus 4 competitions within driving distance from home (no Crazy travel!). Girls got plenty of competition and lots of good experience.Overall my daughter really enjoyed Superior, the coaches are fun, challenging, push you as far as you can go! We have had a great experience with Superior Gymnastics over the years. Started out taking recreational classes and transitioned to the competitive teams. We have always felt welcome by coaches and staff. Coaches are encouraging to my daughters and adjust their styles to meet the needs of my children. My child has been going to Superior Gymnastics for about 6 years and I've seen how she progress with her gymnastics skills!  Superior Gymnastics is like her second home.  It's amazing how gymnastics helps her be able to manage her time and balance her school, training and meet schedules and have fun at the same time.  I believe that the discipline and life lessons that gymnastics teaches her with the help of her coaches at Superior Gymnastics will be beneficial with my child's life and long term success! This gym is outstanding. My daughter who very much wanted to excel in her sport of gymnastics has found the perfect fit. Since joining in February her athletic ability and skill while being on team has grown profoundly. She had wanted so much to have the challenge and opportunity to grow and this is exactly what she is experiencing. The coaches are dedicated to their gymnasts and their personal growth, while promoting bonding , friendship and teamwork. I can not praise the owner and staff enough. We feel so very fortunate to have found this family. We are thrilled to see our daughter and the other gymnasts grow and become the gymnasts they desire to be. Great as well to connect with the parents and keeping things real, fun and a true platform for growth.Bravo Superior. I do believe that the negative comment previous to my review was from someone who has been to MANY facilities in the area and hmmmm can't seem to find their fit, because apparently they are all not good?
