Tom is great knows how to get results and helped me shift 10kg in 12 weeks just as he said he would he even got me running and drinking water that was a challenge on its own. Thanks Tom

5 months in and I can see myself loosing weight and on track to where I want to be! Tom does everything to suit your needs! He takes into account your own goals and visions and together YOU WILL achieve them!Really nice guy, who has created a great workout environment and cannot do enough for you, always a phone call or email away! Gyms can be uncomfortable for many people but Tom makes you feel very welcome!Tom’s ability to adapt amazes me, from a one on one session to a group of 10 people he will always make you feel comfortable in what you are doing but push you to the very edge individually as everyone is there for different reasons whether loosing weight or training for a marathon, You will constantly be doing new exercises and with Tom’s own development he passes this down into all his clients Great guy, great atmosphere, great results More...

3 months with Tom, 2 sessions a week and seeing a huge difference already. I have lost weight, gained muscle, toned up the wobbly bits and according to the Mrs am looking pretty good for a 57 year old former couch potato. Highly recommended.

I’m 46 years old.The last sporting activity I participated in was before the birth of my 12 year old daughter.I would walk occasionally but that pretty much was it. I came across Chigwell Personal Training on Face Book by chance and clicked on the link because an old university friend of mine was in one of the pictures posted on the site.Hell why not I thought so arranged a consultation with Tom who’s enthusiasm and positivity was such that I signed up right there and then.That was five months ago and boy have things changed in that time.So what’s changed in that time?• I feel less lethargic and more energetic.• I’m eating more healthily.• I’m drinking less alcohol.• I feel stronger.• My body shape has become more toned.• My posture is so much better.• I’ve started running.• I’ve started doing more sporty activities with my children.• Oh and I have lost 5kg.In a nutshell I feel happier and healthier, although I still cannot skip!The training Thomas puts you through is tailored around your personal goals regardless of whether you are in a one on one session or with a group of others.Each session is always great fun, sometimes a little bit tough but that’s what makes each session so rewarding. Oh and if you are worried about ‘group’ sessions (like I did) … don’t.The people I have met over the last five months of training with Tom are great, a real mix of young and old of all shapes and sizes and I feel very much part of a new group of friends.Thanks Tom for everything so far. I don't give five star reviews lightly, but Tom is very deserved of a top score. Very knowledgeable, personable and committed to delivering the best for his clients, Tom is an excellent personal trainer and has in depth knowledge of exercises to ensure they are appropriate and deliver results. The sessions are varied and enjoyable - but always hard but that's what I like. I feel my body has changed immeasurably for the better over the last few months. I look and feel different - I love it! I have been training with Tom for five weeks , i love his positive outlook and varied training , you never know from session to session what he is going to hit you with. He has taken me to a diffrent level in such a short time . i really look forward to the sessions , same cant be said for some other trainers i have worked with . Very good on going advice on diet . Tom is a really upbeat, energetic guy and makes working out really good fun. He is always very encouraging and very supportive in helping you with whatever you're trying to achieve. I had some challenges with not being able to walk without a lot of pain and Tom instantly knew what the problem was after seeing me walk, and gave me a solution for it. Not only is he a great personal trainer, but he also has a lot of knowledge on the human body and how to solve challenges relating to health and fitness.Thanks Tom! More...

An awesome trainer. Has a really really amazing knowledge of physiology, helping with pain in the body. Great knowledge of nutrition. *you must read this* For nearly 12 years... I’ve struggled with getting myself into any type of shape. Tried most diets, and most online fitness plans, and of course had countless gym memberships. .I was searching for the answers and by the power of google I stumbled across Chigwell Personal Training run by Tom B. As soon as I met Tom I know we’d get on well, he’s passionate, knows his stuff but also knows how to create a positive mindset and genuinely wants to see you be be best. Nearly 3 months in and WOW! I’ve never trained so hard, For the first time I’m consistent with EVERYTHING and seen such overwhelming results. I started in August 23rd. Like most people, I was a bit apprehensive as I was worried about the size of the goals I wanted to achieve, but under Toms careful guidance I managed to lose over a stone in 6 weeks.
I love the journey that has been planned out for me and I can’t wait to keep achieving all my goals.
I can’t recommend Chigwell Personal Training high enough!

Tom was recommended to me because of a previous injury I had and I wanted to ensure I wasn't causing myself more damage long term. He quickly assessed my running technique and adapted sessions to help me strengthen other muscles, which he believed were weak.
It's taken a while, with setbacks along the way, but he's managed to suss my weaknesses and recovery times, which hopefully now will only have positive outcomes!
No session is the same, he works you hard...you get what you pay for! Tom is very knowledgeable and often has little 'tips' on how to improve goals.
I can honestly say I'd recommend him to anyone, whether a beginner or a fully-fledged fitness fanatic, he can adapt around you to help you to become a stronger you!

Tom's professionalism and enthusiasm is second to none in his field. Every session is well thought out and prepared in advance with good clear instructions on what the goals and objectives are for that session. I have worked with a few personal trainers in my time - Tom is a league above the rest, he is outstanding. Initially I wanted strength and muscle - and I got it (and beat my boss on a Ninja trail challenge - most satisfying! ) Now he is helping me rehab - if you are used to being active and get told by a doctor that what has happened is part of the ageing process and you need to slow down.....go to Tom!!!! What a great experience it has been having personal training sessions with Tom. After having an initial assessment, including what goals I wanted to achieve, each session is different and challenging while still focusing on those goals.
