Firstly, the Sap's owner owns this place too, so seeing that we go to Sap's once a week I knew this place would be a win. It's a cute little spot with limited parking right in the front, with some part in the lot that it's a part of, so this part might be a challenge at certain times . Very attentive service (maybe slightly too much) but all good. Menu isn't huge and although I do find it rather odd at the difference in prices between just noodles($12) to then $20s+ for entrees, I might give one of those entrees a try when I'm back next. I ordered the pad kee mao with shrimp and friend ordered pad see ewe with beef. Food came out so quick and portions were definitely generous, but most importantly so delicious!! Nice solid thai restaurant with flavorful food.  lunch specials are decent but limited.  They are discounted but you won't get any extras (soup, salad) with it.  The dinner menu is available during lunch.  Some of it is a little on the more expensive side for Thai food...but overall pretty fair in price.  The food in general is really good. Oh my gosh am I happy to have found this place! My sister-in-law is Thai and I'm always happy to find an authentic Thai restaurant when she's in Thai. Reasonably priced with a friendly server-- I'm surprised it wasn't busier, but we got there right when they opened. We all gave it a 5/5 from the chicken satay to the chicken pad Thai and curry. Came here on a whim, the place was not too packed and for some reason they sat us in the very back.  It was initially stuffy and hot back there, and took awhile for the ac they had back there to cool the area.  I'm thinking they put us back there because we had baby carriers. Food- had the Pad Thai which was very tasty, had plenty of peanuts.  It wasn't greasy like some places make it. Also has the Fresh Basil Spring rolls, which came with 3. Thought that was a weird number for an appetizer.  You could def taste the basil, the roll itself tasted fresh; however there was only a small piece of half a shrimp in each which I thought was cheaply done for the $7 I paid.  I also ordered their sticky rice just to try, it was meh to me.  I'm only giving them 4 stars for their pad thai. I tend to judge a Thai restaurant by their Tom Kha and they had some pretty good Tom Kha. The friend I went with had the green curry dish, Gaeong Keow Won Kanom Jeen, and let me try. Also REALLY really good.

Why was this place the perfect graduation lunch destination? Because the food was well priced, well plated, and absolutely scrumptious. My dad one of the rarest compliment givers of the land, stated that he had the best pad thai of his life. The place is very welcoming and invokes a comfortable fine dining experience. I liked seeing the food cooked right behind the counter so it's easy to gauge when your order is ready.The chicken skewers and ahi tuna appetizers were both really cute and tasty. The shrimp green curry is good and just the right amount of spicy. Even though I liked it a lot, I simply adored my mom's order of pad thai and essentially traded with her. All the noodle dishes here are incredible and the noodle is the perfect level or chewiness. It's worth repeating again that you cannot go wrong with a noodle here. I never knew there was a Thai place around S. Lamar near Oltorf.  My friend and I went here and it wasn't busy. But inside it was really nice and it deserves some business. I first started off with the Ahi Tuna scoops. I guess you can say I'm a sucker for raw fish. There were four of them and came with cucumber in the bottom, then seaweed,  and ahi tuna on top. It came with soy sauce. It was good and the menu said it was chef recommended. Then I usually order the Tofu Pad See-ew. It was really good and hit the spot. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Austin. I've eaten here numerous times. It's remarkably consistent; even the delivery/take-out comes perfect.  The service is wonderful. Bathrooms are clean.   My favorites are the vegetable dumplings, duck curry, and tiger cry.  I have never had anything less than delicious. This was a great experience. Driving around south Lamar looking for Ramen or sushi and stumbled upon the yelp reviews of this place. First impression , limited parking, not a major issue tho. Upon entry, the waiting area was clean and small. I didn't look beyond the wall to see the restaurant extended back. The bamboo and brick wall was a great accent. The ambiance was wonderful. Small enough to engage in a intimate convo yet big enough to where you couldn't hear the person next to you. Then the service was friendly and prompt... the food was amazing. I ordered the SeaBass and he ordered the Snapper!!! We were eating out of each other's plates. I recommend this place especially for an intimate date or even a small business discussion. 5 stars for me! More...

I've been meaning to write an update, but kept forgetting. My main complaint before was the broccoli stems, and turns out chinese broccoli (which is the traditional ingredient) is mostly stem. Their pad see ew is delicious, and always has a lot of veggies. The one thing to keep an eye out for, is they tend to run on the spicier side. It's always tough with thai places to know how spicy to ask your dish - 1 star could be bland or it could be mouth on fire and tears running down your face. Super Thai's 1 star is on the hotter side, so be prepared. I wasn't :) It still will remain our go-to for takeout, and now I know to order 'no spice'. More...

This is what any local Thai spot should taste like. A 5 means a 5 on the spicy scale and the take out containers are perfectly sized and dishes look nice even away from inside plating. Shrimp pad Thai one of the better versions I've had. Truly spicy and makes your stomach hurt in a good way. Shrimps cooked well and dish came full with few greens and peanuts and bean sprout. Pasta salad nice side dish and another spot on spicy hit. Came with sticky rice and some veggies so could even be a meal if you incline. Tofu good option and seared if you go vegetarian, but really seems that they make spot on food. Little pricier than a take out spot should be with most dishes $14ish, but they're consistent with other Austin restaurants and a dine in first anyways so priced that way. Might have found my goto spot for Thai on South Lamar. Only complaint is no delivery, though they do have online ordering; so hopefully they add that soon. More...

We ordered the Tamarind Duck, Pan Seared Chilean Seabass and Larb Moo and Kaw Gee for dinner.  The restaurant is well appointed and decent size.  It was more than half full in capacity and the kitchen was busy.  The food was delicious and reminded us of our Thailand trip last year.  The owner, Sap came by our table to check on things and after mentioning some of the other dishes including steamed fish we had in Thailand, he offered to prepare it next time as long as we give him a few days to accommodate our request. Cute, intimate, modern decor. Nice date spot or place to go with a good friend (bc ya know, intimate w dim lighting).Good food! Got C1, which is the green curry. Perfect spice level for me. Got my nose barely runny and the heat was bearable. Good flavor, and I really like the eggplant in it! It's usually served with rice noodles, but you can request rice instead for no charge. Beautiful Thai dishes. Nice establishment in a convenient location. We came here after ACL and enjoyed an intentionally crafted and delicious Thai iced tea, the Tom Kha Kai soup and duck curry. Super Thai, is...well...super! It's traditional thai food with an upscale twist. Perfect for a date night. I think its AWESOME that Super and Saps offer free entrees for expecting mother's! Be sure to look into that if you are pregnant. We ordered a variety of items between a group of four and shared them, something I highly recommend as everything is so delicious. Don't let the name fool you, this is, hands down, the best Thai food anywhere in Austin. Super Thai is an elevated Thai food experience. Over the course of our last 6 visits, we have tried:- Pad Thai - it is so good we get it every time- Pad Gra-Prao Moo Krob (Pork Belly Dish) - just...you have to - Gaeng Massaman & Boneless Beef Short Ribs - incredibly flavorful- Soft Crab Pad Cha (green curry with soft shell crab) - SO goodDon't skip the Mango Black Sticky Rice for dessert.
