My husband, son, and I have been part of the Super Kicks family for the past three years! I never, ever would have thought I would be one to almost have a black belt in a million years! Having been diagnosed with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis since the age of 21, I have been through many issues, but Master Bryant and the rest of the amazing staff have been extremely encouraging and understanding. My neurologist is extremely supportive of me being in karate and can see much improvement! My husband and son have also been encouraged and supported by the school, so much so, that we will continue on even after getting black belts next month. The new STORM (Special Team of Role Models) program is AWESOME!!! My grandson loves this class led by Mr. Stafford. He's eager to do his workbook at home and loves the leadership opportunities he is being given. Last Saturday the STORM team set up for graduation and all members assisted the instructors during graduation... even the younger ones. We initially began by enrolling our child, and were so excited about how they teach we made it a family event. Mr. Bryant and Mr. Wood are great at understanding and relating to children and taking time to explain how to properly use a new move or technique. If we have questions, they take time to listen, seek to give the best answer and provide a demonstration if necessary. They are very patient and have helped us along as we have advance to each new belt level. If you are looking for a martial arts class this is the place to be.Super Kicks is a great place to have a birthday party. Our instructors, Mr. Bryant and Mr. Wood do a wonderful job of providing activities and games for children. Our family loves Super Kicks! In addition to teaching karate, Mr. Bryant and his staff incorporate discussions on life skills during the sessions. So as you're learning karate skills, building strength, etc., you also hear positive ways to deal with real life situations. It never hurts to have more reinforcement that having a strong mind is just as important as a strong body! We also highly recommend the birthday parties Super Kicks offers.
