Yummy fresh food made to order and they even have spam musubi!! As far as I know it's the only place in town to get it and it's DELICIOUS! Don't knock till you try it.

This is the ONLY locally owned restaurant in the Medford area my wife and I actually enjoy frequenting. The food is consistently good (wouldn't say great cause we've had tastier Hawaiian fusion food outside the Southern Oregon area obviously), the staff is attentive (but not pushy or annoying) and when Carol is there, she makes you feel comfortable and right at home! I went to Auntie Carol's Hawaiian Cafe today for take-out. I discovered it at a catered lunch this Summer. I immediatly knew i wanted to go to the restaurant and today I did just that. Stopped in for dinner bc they have outdoor seating out front. Street parking available on a busy street. Got their smoked pulled pork plate. Good portion but the steamed broccoli side was still raw. Maui born and raised! I stumbled upon this restaurant. I was pleased to find that the plate lunches were authentic!! I found a spam musubi made with hinode rice, drizzled w a sweet tasting sauce made with, of course, aloha shoyu. I ordered the " local Moco". I need to point out that when my plate arrived, the first thing I checked was the "mac salad", it was made with best food mayonnaise, and with that everything else was perfect!! What a great experience   We had take-out for a family birthday dinner. My husband loves Hawaiian food  and my son recommended Auntie Carols. The interaction with the owners was friendly from ordering to pick up. All of our food on the Isalnd Style Buffet was delicious. We added the  tri-tip which was moist and flavorable. My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant by accident. We both like Hawaiian food so we were excited by our find! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I had pulled pork, macaroni and rice and it was delicious. My husband had Korean spicy pork and beef and broccoli and he enjoyed his meal as well. We shared a pineapple upside down cake for desert. I've eaten here since they opened 8 years ago. Ono (delicious) food with a generous serving of Aloha, that's Sunrise Cafe. I should know, I grew up on Kauai. I love their Hawaiian style Chicken Curry Bowl and nobody in the county makes better Kalua Pig (known here as Ed's Famous Pulled Pork). BTW, Ed just sold the restaurant to his sister/business partner Carol and her husband Dean. Their kids Kevin and Michelle are also staying with the business, so the Aloha and food quality will continue. One thing that will change is that the hours will get longer after May 1st.
