*** Urgent**** Long Post Alert****Need help***

March 2022 I booked my first Group through Vacation Express and ever since there has been issues and now they are refusing to resolve unless I come up with $19,000 and they are refusing to take any responsibility.

The story…

I signed up for Inteletravel right before Covid hit and kept up with my membership but never booked due to circumstances and now fast fwd I’ve slowly but surely begun.

In March my booking experience began for a group of 46 person’s and 20 rooms and when I initially received the offer and reached out with questions and such my efforts went ignored and I was treated poorly by the rep assigned to the booking and reps in the group department. I was givin misinformation and lead down a couple rabbit holes. I had to call several times before my request to speak with a supervisor was granted.

FINALLY! A supervisor. The supervisor seemed empathetic and understanding. I was asked to provide email communications to show my attempts to get assistance from my current sales rep and after I provided that information; I was asked to send over the room list and he’d make sure they were entered via the deviation team. Great! progress has been made and finally my room list has been entered. The list was updated but it was incorrect and i immediately Notified the supervisor of this.

Enter’s new sales rep… I explained I’m a bit flustered and really need help getting things going and corrected. The new rep was a breath of fresh air and told me they’ll fix everything and they are on of the best VE has. We spoke over and I gave a rundown of everything and we then proceeded to go over the booking and I offered to send it over and the rep said we can. Go over it over the phone and they’ll make sure everything is corrected. We removed a few rooms and added missing members of the group and what not. The booking was now down to 17.

I asked questions regarding the reduction and the final due date of June 10Th and seeing if it could be pushed to the 28th. The rep explained not to worry a about the room reduction as long it doesn’t drop to low and the 28th should be fine. Also the rep was to reach out to RIU regarding a rate for children.

I waited and checked and nothing had been done. I emailed the rep and they called me and we went over things again. They reassured me everything would be good on the room list. I emailed wanting to remove two more people and add 4 more persons and while on vacation I checked and the room list remained the same. I tried calling and decided to email the rep, supervisor, and client; I received a out of office message from the rep and no response for the supervisor. The rep then reached out me and assured me within 24hrs and guess what?! The list was still inaccurate.

I was then assigned another rep from deviations and I then again explained my horror story. This rep was not responsive and nothing had been fixed. I finally spoke with the rep on the phone and this point I’m beyond frustrated and stressed. I explained to the rep I don’t care about my commission; I just want these issues resolved and the accounting corrected. The rep said it was being handled but things are backed up and assured me the numbers correct and the room list fixed.

I’ve been emailing both reps having phone contact and everything and felt like I was in the twilight zone. With all the back and forth it was to much I had people backing out because they never were added to the room list and kids booked alone, a person on the booking that was never apart of the group, and people not removed that should have in April.

I reached out to the devastation rep several times and heard nothing. On June 1st and 2nd I reached out via phone and left a message in regards to the accounting and room list. The rep emailed asking me to confirm if everything was correct. I missed that email but left a message stating the day before it was wrong. At this point people were still missing from the room list and some had not been removed.

Now they are saying I’m $19,000 short on my booking!!! Won’t take responsibility for anything and treated me like trash yesterday and today. I understand the contract says the 10th but remember I asked if that date would work and was told yes. Even the rep acknowledged the 28th as the final payment date. I reached out to RIU to book a person directly since they had not been added and RIU said they couldn’t help me because Inteletravel’s account has expired with them. (I’d like to add I reached out to Inteletravel by creating a ticket and left a voicemail and received no communication).

A rep from Inteletravel reached out regarding the balance and I explained the situation and they acted if they would assist and asked me to send my emails and guess what! I did not hear anything for over a week and I called and emailed. Notta.

Then Inteletravel calls me with the groups boss from Inteletravel and they tell me the group is not going unless I pay the remainder. Not acknowledging anything that has transpired or anything! Absolutely nothing. Ignore all my pleas and even the sales rep email acknowledgments. I had a seasoned agent on the phone when I spoke with rep today and they were shocked how Inteletravel treated me after knowing what they know.

I need help! I’ve needed help from the beginning. My group has paid almost $1200! Has plane tickets, and children.

I hope someone can be of assistance. I offered to work a payment plan out or something idc I want my clients booking and I’ll deal with the rest at this point.

Please any advice or knowledge would be beyond helpful.

I am a current travel agent and this is not my character, but my all of my inquiries seem to be ignored. Customer service sucks! I can never get anyone on the line when I call the 800 number. I submitted a commission inquiry March 16 and have yet to receive a response. I submitted another one about 2 weeks ago and the only response I received stated that they are taking 14 business days to respond! I was given a name to escalate and she haven’t responded. I certainly wouldn't want to book through S D Bullock considering her total lack of caring for other people- "While at my stay in Fairfield, California, I was subject to a person of substance abuse. He was in what was supposed to be the secured ice machine room. He was drugged out. Laying out with his posterior exposed, partially behind the ice machine. When calling from my room, to let the front desk know, they said they would get on it. After about an hour and leaving to go get food and returning, he was still there! When I brought it to their attention again, they said that they had approached him and he was leaving, that was not the case. They said they were going to contact the police, but it might take awhile. Really? So I have to be subjected to a vagrant drugged out individual until they feel like calling the police? I've paid money to stay at a national brand hotel chain, that normally has a good reputation for keeping the lights on, but I feel that I was duped! I find it COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!! No security. Funny, I had a similar experience to a person who posted 4 hours ago. I booked a hotel for myself (thank God it wasn't for a client) and when I arrived the receptionist told me the hotel voucher doesn't count for anything, and I must pay. I thought ok, maybe the card details were for guaranteeing the reservation or in case of no-shows. But then I was told by my upline (the person who recruited me) that if I'm paying the hotel directly I won't be earning commissions. I then contacted Intele's support, and they told me I would be earning. In the end, I had about 5 people all telling me different things and was so confused by it all. There is no coordination between the US office and UK teams at all. Maybe the company grew too fast for its own good, or maybe they are having financial problems which is why the hotel insisted on me paying them directly, they don't trust Intele will pay them, and I don't blame them. Even when you do earn a commission you have to wait 3 months for it to be paid, and in the end, you aren't making any profit with the £32 monthly fee. They are totally more interested in signing people up rather than focusing on customers' holidays. I asked my upline for advice assuming that she had been through the process herself, but she said that she hadn't been through the process of using Intele's hotel booking engine herself...just shows that they don't really care about holidays, it's just an MLM. I never seen a dollar in commissions and I canceled my membership and somehow they reactivated it and continued to charge me and will not refund me my money back.
