I'm giving it a pre 5 Star rating because of Elmer and Jose.They were both friendly, professional,  knowledgeable, and they worked their butt off. Elmer discussed all the services they provide.  He then recommended the service he thought we needed after discussing our household dynamics. This also included a pet oder problem. He then desribed in detail the process from start to finish. After they completed the cleaning process he requested we look it over to ensure our satisfaction. He informed us and showed us a stain he could not totally remove. I requested a quote and got a response right away. It's a bit pricey but worth it. I called for an appointment, and they were flexible with my schedule. We called Sunny Hills Chem-Dry based on previous excellent experiences.  This time around was a major challenge - we had just given our old living room furniture away to charity, and had new living room furniture being delivered in two days.  After the old furniture was picked up, we realized that the extent of wear, mold, staining and fading on the original 30 year old carpet (where the old furniture had been) was absolutely frightening.  We did not want to have to buy new carpet, and prayed Chem Dry might be able to help us out just a little.We made an appointment for the next day, and Andres called 15 minutes before arrival to confirm he was on his way.  When he arrived we showed him his challenge, and he quickly went to work.  He went though a multi-step process of vacuuming, sanitizing, shampooing, extracting, and raking that was simply outstanding and somewhat astounding.  Believe me, you cannot make a 30 year old carpet look like new, but the refreshed carpet looked absolutely nothing like it had before Andres' arrival.  My wife and I were stunned, elated, relieved and astonished - it looked so good!  I know the new furniture will look great on the old but very much cleaned carpet, and the work was done on time, quickly, thoroughly and thoughtfully.  Andres rates a 10+, borderline 11 (out of 10) for his great work. I was so impressed! Service was prompt, courteous and professional. I had a very ingrained hair oil stain on an expensive wool-upholstered chair that I had given up on. I tried recommended tactics but none worked (and I didn't want to ruin the chair). The cleaner restored the chair to perfection. He also did my sofa and dining chairs. Andres was a very nice young man. I am happy with the job done on my couch. I am a little disappointed about what I was told over the phone when I called to set up the appointment. I let the man know the size of my couch and that it was down filled. He told me it would be between 300.00 to 400.00 for my couch. I explained I really could not pay more than 300.00. He than said he would work with me. When Andres arrived he told me it will cost $470.00 and he gave me the disinfectant for free which is normally $30.00. He also let me know it was not in his paperwork that my couch was down filled. And this apparently upped my cost. I ended up going through with it and glad they did a decent job. I'm thinking maybe not a good idea to give people pricing over the phone or say he will work with them. And make sure communication between co workers is stronger. Richard Madera with Sunny Hills Chem Dry was professional knowledgable and very helpful. To be honest I thought the rug would need to be ripped out but wanted to have a pro come out and tell me. Richard took the time to patiently describe the cleaning process and what could be done. He had a photograph of one of his previous jobs and it looked great. So I went with his professional and courteous recommendations for how to proceed and was I ever glad I did. He nailed it! Did a great job and really spent the time to pay attention to the little details, as a home owner those are the kinds of things that really mean a lot. Great experience all around from making the appointment to the actual cleaning. Our service was provided by Erick. He called first thing the morning of the appointment to provide an ETA of his arrival (spot on with the time quoted when I made the appointment). They were awesome. We had a red wine stain on a white cotton dining room chair. Instead of trying to clean it for $50 they were not sure it would come out and chance ruining it because of it being cotton. So instead of ripping us off they took us next door to Joni Upholstery and recommended the proper fix and leading us in the right direction. Very awesome and honest guys. I want the owner of this company to tour the country and teach every small business about how to treat customers and run a successful business! These guys are the absolute gold standard in quality, customer service, and professionalism. I have used them now on four occasions for my rental properties and they always exceed expectations. Their staff are well spoken, courteous, on time, and great at what they do. They take pride in their work and what impressed me the most is their consistency in communication. Dear ChemDry,Just wanted to let you know how pleased I was with your staff Andres and Jose who came at a last minute call to clean my mother's carpeting. I was on the fly and had to go to Chicago to spend New Years with the family and ultimately bring mom back to her home, unfortunately she was too weak to return to see a job well done!! Our carpeting is pretty worn from spills from mama's navigating her walker with coffee and who knows what else?
