Stay Away! Customer service is poor and attitude is poor
We chose Sunlight Removals as all others were fully booked and it has to be said the service particular from the manager is very poor.
- The survey that was done prior to booking and we were quoted for 3 plus fourth can free at a very competitive price. But on the day of moving the manager decided to charge us £600 extra for the fourth van against the pre provided invoice.
- we had booked a packing service and the company had only sent two people a day before to pack the whole house. In reality only 50% of the house was packed. We had to pack alongside the men.
- when we refused to pay the extra £600, we were threatened to not do the job and we were stuck as we had to get our stuff moved and had no option.
- the manager shouted and threatened us of some horrible things on the day, threatning us to unload all our stuff and leave it on our driveway. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL.
- when we reached the new place halfway into unloading they demanded balance payment in cash upfront again we were not notified and this wasn’t our expectation.
All in all this amounted to a very stressful moving day for the entire family and I cannot stress enough how you should not use this company.
- they damaged our fridge and refused to pay damaged, damages to appliances, furniture, attitude, blackmail, I’m actually shocked how this company can be allowed to trade. On challenging them to pay for the fridge damage, the manager said he will see us in the court !!

Everything was very professionally organized Steven done all the packing one day before every thing was packed proper so no complaints cant ask for more There were no problems with the time schedule and all our stuff was in perfect condition after the move

Great guys, from the first phone call, right through to completion, they were excellent.Really nice and really helpful throughout the process. They really did their best to accommodate us as we had tight timescales and they fitted us in perfectly.They did our packing for us and on unpacking nothing was missing, broken or damaged in any way atall. And their quote also included unassembling and reassembling our wardrobes for us.A really great job for a reasonable price and a lot of care with our item throughout the whole process.I would thoroughly recommend them. The service was excellent and made our house move a lot less stressful. The team, were friendly, courteous, calm and extremely helpful.
They were joined later by more team members whose names I wish I could remember because they were brilliant too!
Steve and Paul wrapped and boxed all the breakable items and wall paintings, which reduced the work load and the stress. I can definitely recommend using the packing service.
We moved to a smaller house so I was worried that it might be a bit too chaotic fitting everything in. However it was all very efficient. The furniture was placed exactly where I wanted, the beds re-assembled, the boxes neatly stacked.
I really liked the team that moved us. , team packed up stayed throughout the whole process,

I have given 4 stars for the effort put in to delivering and installing my washing machine. I would give 4 1/2 if I could as the removal men worked late, and made sure that my machine was fully installed without leaking. They even delivered extra items without asking for extra money.I have highlighted to the staff that there is damage to my lino, and I have waited over a month to see if this would be resolved. We used sunlight removal this Monday. With only a few hours noticed, they were able to accommodate a short distance house move. The gentleman who arrived couldn't have done enough, he was very friendly and helpful. I've used many moving companies before, and have always felt like they were conscious of the fact that if they were slower and more relaxed it would cost us more. This was not the case with Sunight Removals, they helped as much as they could with 100% efficiency. If you're looking for a company you can trust, which is so important with your belongings, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. My family were talking for days after about how great they were.
