I finally have found the perfect hairdresser and salon. I am very picky and have always found something I didn't like about the hairdresser and/or the cleanliness of the salon. After seeing the same stylist for over 15 years, I was in desperate need to find another to take her place. It couldn't be done. .. yet I had been at SunDay's for top notch pedicures before and the salon was super cute stylish and hip, so I made an appointment for a color/foil/makeover if you will. I asked for their best stylist they had, and though Katie came highly recommended from previous reviews on here, she was leaving the next day to move down south. She told me "Stephanie is great, she actually did my hair yesterday". If a stylist can trust her peers to do their hair she must be decent right? WOW! From someone who gets her hair done every 6-8 weeks, I felt rejuvenated after I left. Stephanie did just as I asked but better! She was super personable, easy to talk to, did a consultation before she started, and overall very professional and knowledgeable. I think I've found my new place, and my new girl! More...

I decided to try SunDay's Salon after seeing some positive reviews here on Yelp and elsewhere. I'm glad I did.First, they have Hair Happy Hours on Tues. and Weds. 1-3pm. You get 25% off on colors and cuts. It was a less expensive way to try the salon, so...SCORE!!!When I arrived, I was immediately and warmly greeted. The salon itself is not huge, but it's clean and comfortable. The receptionist took my coat and offered me a beverage. I was checking out their collection of Bare Minerals make-up and told one of the women that I was looking for a replacement for a discontinued lipstick. She told me she'd go through the make-up to see if she could find anything.I had Katie as my stylist. She assessed my hair and did a color consultation. At the last (not so good) salon I tried, the stylist didn't even bother to do this; she just 'decided' what I needed. Feh. Katie and I talked about what issues I'm having and she made thoughtful recommendations on what I needed and gave me choices on color. Great!The color and cut were done with care. The only small nit was she didn't use any barrier cream...so I have a couple of skin stains that she didn't remove when she did my wash-out. However, the color is really good and, once again, she talked through my options with the cut and executed it exceptionally well.The prices here are in line with other salons in the area, but I really liked the service I received. While they couldn't find a replacement for my lipstick in the Bare Minerals line, the make-up gal did some internet searches and came up with options for me. I will DEFINITELY be back!! More...

Disappointed in my nails that I got done here. They peeled within 3 days of getting them, but management was great and I hope to try them out again soon with the credit on my account. I have not given up hope yet!

Being a bride that was thousands of miles away(Tampa FL) SunDays Salon and Spa was very good at communication and responding to emails. Every step of the way Leah replied to my countless emails and was very accommodating for an additional appointment a few days before. My maid of honor and I arrived on Friday for mani, pedi, and eye brows and Saturday we got hair and make up done. Everything turned out amazing. Such a cute place! Just got my nails done with my mom - everyone was so friendly and helpful. The girls are sweet - we are vacationing here and it was such a great way to end our trip.

Came here for a massage and wash and blowdry while on vacation. I work at a salon back home and tend to have high standards when it comes to visiting salons. These team was fantastic. So friendly, professional and very accommodating. Every person had a smile on their face. The massage was fantastic and my blowdry came out great. I've been here for a walk-in manicure and a scheduled haircut. I can't remember the name of the girl that did my nails, but she was incredibly sweet. The manicure was good- not the best I've ever had, but it hung in there for about 5 days. The reason I'm giving 5 stars is because of my hair situation. I've always had super short hair, but grew it out the last few years. Well, I was ready to hack it all off last week and let Samantha do the honors. She gave me an ADORABLE hair cut, listening and making adjustments along the way. I really couldn't be happier. The crew there works so well together. There's no cattiness that I've seen at other salons. They have benefits, maternity leave, and I believe they work on salary. The cool part about this is that it removes the competition between stylists. If Samantha isn't available, I can go to someone else without a problem. They also have more frequent trainings than it seems other places do. The salon is cute, the people are friendly, and the service is high quality. I'll be there every 7 weeks or so for the next 10 years or so. =) More...

I got married in Laconia back in September. Since we live in CA, I was a little stressed out about finding that right salon for me in NH, that could do my wedding day hair and makeup. I had recommendations from friends at home, but I was still nervous since I would not be in the area before hand for a "trial run." I called a couple salons for appointments for my mom and I, but none of them really struck me as "the place." As soon as I called SunDay's, I felt like my luck had changed. Just the way I was greeted over the phone, made me feel instantly more calm. The receptionist was very friendly, and listened while I explained what my mom and I were looking for. The morning of the wedding, I was more than nervous. Our appointments were early in the morning and my stomach was already doing cartwheels. Upon entering the salon, we were greeted with the same warmth that I had received over the phone. The two receptionists and all of the stylists where very friendly and my experience here could not have been any better. We were even offered mimosas while we got our hair and make up done! Sam did an awesome job on my hair and makeup! She did exactly what I asked for and it turned out even better than I had imagined. Although we seemed to have chosen one of the most humid days of the year to have our wedding, my makeup held up! My hair did lose a little bit of it's curl due to the humidity, but at least many of the pictures caught how pretty it looked before the humidity took over.Thanks SunDay's for an awesome experience!
