My fiancé and I didn't really know what to expect when we went into our engagement session with Summer, as we were new to the Indy area and had no referral. However, we were beyond pleased. Summer has been our family photographer since I was pregnant with my daughter 4 years ago - she has taken our maternity, baby, and family photos; in addition to professional conference & head shot photography for my employer. It is easy to refer her, as I receive compliments on her work regularly. I love that Summer always makes her clients feel relaxed and comfortable - taking posed photos can sometimes feel awkward, and working with young children and animals requires a lot of patience, but she is always funny, gracious, and accommodating. She goes with the flow and captures the hidden moments. Her ideas are fun and artistic; editing and finishing is beautiful; professionalism and ease of transaction exceed expectations. Summer was awesome. She traveled nearly 3 hours away and bent over backwards for Brad and I. Her talent, patience and "eye for it" is unbelievable. She was sensitive to certain family dynamics. The photos we have are pieces of artwork and I can't wait to have canvases made to decorate or new house. The compliments we received on her (from guests and friends) for the way she worked on the day-of AND the photos that she captured...there's too many compliments to count. She kept us on schedule and kept track of what photos we did and didn't have so that we would have all kinds of photos to choose from for our own use. We have so many EXCELLENT photos, that is was nearly impossible (and somewhat painful ) to choose "the best" photos to put in our wedding photo album. Thank you, Summer. I can’t even put into words how great Summer was to work with. Her eye for detail and talent are incredible. She did a great job capturing our wedding and was quick to answer emails and figure out exactly what we wanted for our photography.
