I stumbled upon Summer’s Easter minis and hurried to get my 6 month old daughter a session. Upon arriving everything was already set up and they welcomed us. Not to my surprise my daughter was a little fussy and uncooperative, but Summer was so very kind and professional and patient. Where do I even start I have so many positive things to say about Summer Elizabeth Photography!!! My husband and I are so incredibly grateful that we found her when we did, just in time for baby #2's maternity & newborn photos! ! We just wish we had discovered her sooner! Summer did a phenomenal job on both photo shoots, not only capturing the stunning photography itself, but also overall offering a fun and pleasant experience for the whole family!! One thing that others have been lacking in our past experiences is friendliness and customer service.. Summer goes above and beyond to make you feel warm and welcomed!! Even with the challenge of a maternity shoot at a crowded location.. She politely yet firmly asked onlookers to step aside so we didn't have photo bombers in our pictures! She offered the option to rent gowns for the maternity shoot, and offered her dress up collection for the newborn shoot. Our little one was colicy during the first part of our newborn session.. Summer found ways to get the money shots and baby was fast asleep part way through! Her photography skills are super impressive and her genuine nature is the icing on the cake! We already referred her to our close friends and they are also thrilled with their results! We could not recommend Summer any higher!! From the moment we arrived she made us feel special and comfortable. Summer was fantastic with our newborn, who was slightly fussy during the middle of the photo shoot, but she calmed him down with ease. The resulting photographs are stunning, and are some of the best family pictures we have! Summer was fast on the draw, capturing our son in adorable poses on only a moments notice before he moved or became fussy. We definitely appreciated the ease and comfort of the photo shoot, and Summer Elizabeth is a true professional in every sense of the word. Our only regret was that we did not hire her for our Maternity Photos! We cannot recommend her enough; if you're thinking of getting photos taken of your newborn/family, you can't ask for a better photographer. Extremely patient and knows what she wants! It was so nice working with someone who had a vision and knew what direction she wanted to shoot to go. Summer is AMAZING! I found her after I read many referrals in a local Facebook group. I immediately loved her photography style, and once we connected I could tell she would be fantastic. She was SUPER thorough, providing tons of recommendations from locations to timing and everything in between. I sent her a picture of my dress and she even shared a Pinterest board with family clothing styles along the same colors - how sweet!? We just did our first family photoshoot with Summer recently and she was really awesome. She had a great location picked out that we hadn't seen before, she was on-time, very professional, kind, and also very sweet with us and our three girls. We received all of our edited photographs within one week of our shoot and were very pleased with the finished product. Summer is very professional and cares about her client's satisfaction. Summer just did our photos in Sedona this weekend and the session was so enjoyable! My husband and I were looking for a photographer to shoot our anniversary photos and we are so glad we made the decision to work with Summer. From the start, she was quick to answer any questions and she was very knowledgeable about photography spots that would suit our needs. She helped us coordinate everything from the best time of day to shoot to what type of outfits we should think about bringing. In the week leading up to our session, she gave us daily updates on the time of day we should think about meeting due to weather and other factors. We were trying to target the golden hour so we were very appreciative that she followed up so diligently to help us get the best photos possible. During our shoot, she was amazing at helping to direct our poses and was not shy to adjust our postures. My husband and I like to joke that we have exactly two poses we can do for photos so it was greatly appreciated that she had so many ideas. The direction and detailed instructions she provided resulted in some pretty amazing photos. She definitely went the extra mile to get the best photos- we shot photos in the middle of a flower field with waist high plants to the middle of a slippery stream. Summer truly made the shooting process a breeze and we were delighted at the test shots she showed us. I highly recommend her to those who seek natural light photos for any occasion. More...
