We literally stumbled on this one while roaming in Wokingham for first time. Nice and cosy restaurant. They have amazing seating area upstairs. A photo of thali in traditional Indian cast iron plate and bowl says a lot about authenticity. The taste was amazing. Though thali was fulfilling, I couldn't resist ab extra naan. The only thing better than the food here is the service. We had our newborn with us and was a little nervous about eating out. The Sultan supported a charity curry and quiz night last night for my daughter who is fundraising for a trip out to support the build of an orphanage on Ghana. They were so helpful in the planning, professional and efficient at the event and had people’s enjoyment as one of their top priorities. The food was great, the portion sizes perfect with plenty for those who wanted seconds and they even supported serving at the bar whilst we ate our dinner. We couldn’t have asked for more from them and they were just so kind about trying to help her. Would definitely recommend over and over again. Thankyou Vicky More...

Food was good, though I thought the dishes were generally a little hotter than equivalents in other restaurants. The prawn puree starter, for example, was medium-hot; most places I've been to would do this mild-to-medium heat. Also found it strange that the Rogan sauce wasn't mixed in with what I assume was the base sauce (staff advised that this was intentional). Service was quick and polite. More...

Being going here since it opened in 1993 the best Indian food in Wokingham.One thing I hadn't been for a while and I went on my wife's b day this year I think now they need to update the decor upstairs bamboo wicker looks dated now.Thats all!
