First time our two boys stayed away from home overnight, and it was wonderful. They were groomed and looked very happy and rested when we picked them up. We have been taking our 2 shihtzus here for about 7 years now. Phoebe and Penny!!! They always do a great job. I can almost always get squeezed in pretty quick no matter when I call. My favorite thing is they don't keep my fur babies for very long...I personally hate when groomers keep them all day. With Cindy I usually have them in 3 hours max. I just adopted a breeder dog yesterday afternoon. She’s 7 years old and has spent her life in a kennel. This morning she bolted out of the door, she’s not used to being a house girl yet! I spent the next thirty minutes driving around looking for her. Within that time, Frank from Maryville Police Department captured her and took her to Cindy. Cindy took such great care of her until I arrived!! When I picked up the dog, Cindy gave me so many resources for training and a vet. I'm a relatively new customer but have had nothing but excellent service. I'm confused by comments that Cindy isn't around because she has called me back every time and I see her every time I'm there. I'm enrolled in the dog training and she has participated in every class and has volunteered to assist my teenage children as I will miss one of the training sessions. I've noticed significant improvement in my Pit's behavior with just a few lessons. She has given me helpful hints when I've been there to have the dog groomed and her prices are fair. Cindy went above and beyond; she came to the hospital to pick up Zippo because his Daddy was admitted. This also happened around 7:30 p. m. She took excellent care of him; gave him a oatmeal bath for his dry skin and trimmed his nails. She was more than willing to keep him for as long as needed; we had no idea how long his Daddy was going to be hospitalized. Turned out, it was for a week...because of Cindy, he did not have to worry about the care his dog was being given. I've known Cindy through lab rescue nearly ten years and visited her establishment many times over the years. I have toured the kennels and property. After searching for a acceptable place to board my babies and only being horrified, disgusted and shocked I finally listened to my sister and showed up at Cindy's Critter Camp and asked for a tour. Cindy was very accommodating and gave us a tour. First thing I noticed when I walked into the front area was that it was very clean, organized and did NOT stink, she showed us the grooming area, training area, and kennels that were very clean, gave them privacy (for reduced stress) and spacious (not tiny like others we looked at) and did NOT smell horrible or at all. They actually had cleanbedding on the floor in all the kennels for them to lay on (others said they provided bedding but none of them had any) Also the outside kennel areas were spacious and had a cover to keep the pets from baking in the sun. When I picked up my babies they were clean, healthy and happy. They loved Cindy and was very comfy with her and her staff. So all in all this place is amazingly clean, organized, caring, does Not stink and they do what they say. Cindy's Critter Camp is the only place I trust from now on. More...

I had the opportunity to board my baby girl and get her groomed at Cindy’s Critter Camp and she and I have had the best experience that I’ve ever had. I’ve boarded my fur baby many times but I could tell that she was very happy bc she’s usually very skidish and she has never liked being groomed but they are so gentle with her she didn’t jump once. Until we learned how to groom, board and train our dogs, Cindy was always there for us for training, grooming and boarding. We know Cindy and know that she would not allow anything to happen to dogs in her care and can see how something could be missed from an owner or professional especially when it is a hot spot or something hidden under fur. I don't know nor care about the story resurfacing but because it is resurfacing, someone is vengeful because one post or issue years ago should not come back again. Is there a new issue in the past 2 years? Would anyone like to share that has been to visit Cindy's Critter Camp in the past 2 years? That is more my concern then something that happened that long ago. Obviously if there have not been other issues, she deserves nothing but 5 stars. More...

I have known Cindy for at least 10yrs. I have never known her to be anything but professional. Her staff is caring and well trained. Her focus has always been about the welfare of the animals weather they are there for boarding or grooming.
