Delicious! I am finicky when it comes to cupcakes. If you call your frosting "buttercream" it should be made with butter, and you can count on that here. The best part, though, is that they also cater to folks with special requirements: gluten free and vegan in particular. The kicker is that these items are just as tasty as "regular" cupcakes. Fantastic gluten free and vegan cupcakes!! They were well balanced, moist and not too sweet. The bakers are generous with the frosting so it seemed like the cake part was a little small in comparison but I have no complaints about that since the frosting was very good. My favorites were chocolate with vanilla frosting and 'death by chocolate' but the samoa and carrot cake ones were also good. My husband liked all the ones he got as regular cupcakes: bacon stout, samoa, and vanilla with salted caramel icing. When my husband tried one of the gluten free ones he liked it a lot and didn't have to say 'well it's pretty good for an allergy friendly version'.I talked with the owner, Stephanie, at length about cupcakes for a big party I am planning for the spring. I was immediately impressed by how thoughtful she is about ingredients and allergens. She seems very organized and professional and I appreciated that I could walk out the door with a quote and a contract to review. Our wedding on May 27th was AMAZING thanks to Sugar Whipped. When I entered the reception the dessert table was so, so beautiful! ! I rarely write reviews but I had to this time! I Live in NY where you find everything and anything you want and these are the best cupcakes I have ever had! I was traveling to PA and I had the chance to taste these cupcakes! Amazing! DELICIOUS!Dense, moist and not too sweet, (my French palate cannot handle the grocery store, overly sweeten, oversized, diabetes inducing cupcakes mentioned in another review). I recently ordered a small selection of vegan-gluten free cupcakes to accommodate the restricted diets for a few of the guests to my wedding. The cupcakes were very well received by those with a VGF diet, and some other guests ate the remaining cupcakes and all said they were delicious! The cupcakes were very cute and tasty, especially compared to other VGF treats I’ve had. The cupcakes had a great texture, flavor, and were moist! I wish there was a was to upload pictures in reviews because the cakes were beautiful! I ordered 2 cakes for my son's first birthday and they are exactly how I pictured them! They nailed the galaxy frosting and the writing on top is perfect. Also, I loved the customer service. The party was originally planned for last week but we all got sick and had to cancel last minute. They let us leave the cake there until today before the party! Shout out to you guys for that because we live a good distance away. I just have only nice things to say about this bakery and the people. Sugar whipped Bakery made my wedding cake, cupcakes, and mini whoopie pies for my wedding this November. My wedding cake was a small two tiered cake. It was simple but beautiful and delicious!! The cupcakes are just amazing and everyone loved the different flavors! Steph is so nice to work with and does a beautiful job on her cakes!
