We had such an incredible experience at Sugar Paws! We brought our puppy home to two young boys and it was a bit chaotic to say the least! When my mom first told me about Sugar Paws Dog Training, I was against it. We had tried some training previously as well as I had done some research on other trainers, and was never happy. I was convinced that all trainers wanted to take being a dog away from Joey.
However, after our first session with Laura we knew that wasn't the case with her or Sugar Paws. We loved her, and her philosophy of positive reward training. Our consultation lasted over an hour and a half, during which we covered everything. What was expected of us, what we could expect from her. Laura made sure to asked what we were looking to get out of training, and geared our session towards those goal. We received a written evaluation, and a contract for training. Laura worked with our schedules, and planned different meeting places, so we could encounter different situations. Session were always fun and seemed to fly by.
Joey loves Laura!!!! Well she is the treat lady, but I am convinced it's much more than that.
We can't wait to have another session, we are so grateful, and we learned so much in a short time.
It's because of you that we now have the tools to help Joey with his confidence.

I can't say enough great things about Sugar Pawz! Laura is an incredible trainer to both dogs and people. I feel like she really got me and my puppy off to a great start, and I know I will turn to her anytime I need a trainer.

I also needed unexpected care for my dog, and Laura took Charley and I'm surprised she came home! Laura sent me pictures, text, and video updates. I had no doubts she was being well cared for and it looked like she had great fun.

Laura is kind, honest and professional. She took amazing care of our fur baby Bugsy while we were on vacation. I was so nervous to leave him for the first time, but we were able to relax and enjoy knowing he was so happy with Laura! Laura is remarkably skilled, professional, personable, and helpful. Anytime I called her with questions, she got back to me right away. She's clearly invested in helping you and your dog achieve your goals. My dog is reactive to other dogs on walks and becomes generally anxious outside.
