Q&A

The most important thing is to love what you're photographing. I have a love for architecture and real estate...I love walking into a house a feeling the character regardless of style.

The first thing I always ask is if there is any one thing they would like to highlight. Many people have that one favorite space in their house and when listing a home that space translates to the buyer if captured just so.

I love the fact that I get to see so many different styles of homes...whether it's the decor, the building style, or the time frame the structure was built. As a real estate investor myself I never tire of seeing what's out there.

I've been a photography enthusiast for years and have worked here and there for different people just to keep busy while raising my children. Once the kids got a little older things just started picking up on their own through referrals. I truly love what I do and the timing was right to start taking on more jobs and promoting myself.

I don't claim to be better than anyone...in fact I'm probably my worst critic. If I were to give one reason it would be because of my love for my job. It's not a simple transaction for me...each home deserves to be treated as though I myself lived there. There's a story and history in all homes and the right picture can tell that story.
