Sue's sensitive, non judgemental and professional approach has helped me understand and explore my patterns of behaviour which has given me the confidence to change and grow as a person. Our journey together involves both tears and laughter and without a doubt I would not be the person I now without Sue's continual support and encouragement. More...

Psychotherapy

I had no problems with talking to her about why I needed to see her for. As I can tell from the first time we meet that I feel like I found the right person for me straight away.

Q&As

We all hit difficulties at some time in our lives, and it's vital to have someone who is there for you. I love helping people discover they are not alone.

I guess the answer to this is experiencing the ups and downs of life. I've known many happy moments, but have also faced health issues and significant family loss. I've learnt a lot along the way, and want to be there to help ease the suffering of others.

My clients say that I provide a tranquil environment and am a very compassionate listener. I bring a range of perspectives from mindfulness approaches to family systems and bereavement counselling. Most importantly, because I love my work.

Services

Bereavement is such a challenging process. I will support you through significant loss, helping you to grieve in a safe place, and explore what shape your life may now take without your loved one.

Sometimes we just feel that there should be more to life than this! It can be a vague feeling of discontent, but it’s important to take this sense seriously. I will work with you to examine your life, and see how you might be unintentionally getting in your own way. We will look at how you can live more creatively and respond to life, rather be driven by reactions.

Sometimes we feel at such a low ebb, or overwhelmed by life. I will offer you a gentle, non judgemental space to look at how you might be under estimating yourself with self limiting thoughts and behaviours. We look at how you can better resource yourself to deal with people and events.
