Right when we entered the store we were greeted immediately by friendly workers who told us about their special they had going at the moment. We came when they had a pet adoption event where they had a Pot Your Own Succulent with you choice of succulent, pot and even some top dressing for only $24. We were guided on how to depot the succulent and make our own unique masterpiece! They had a nice selection of plants, pots (ceramic and terrariums)  and small gifts/accessories. Unlike other succulent places I've been to this one was indoors which was a nice atmosphere from the outdoor nurseries I'm used to. The prices compared to other succulents were similar. I would say the variety/ amount of succulents they had were fewer but they do carry the most popular/ known succulents.I will come back again as this place is located on North Lamar and closer to my home! My boyfriend and I just stopped in, and we fell in love with this place!! Their plants are all amazing, and their pots and planters are stunning. We're pretty new to plants, and so we were so glad the employees were super helpful in answering all of our questions about the plants! This is a beautiful, succulent shop with a wonderful owner and staff! My daughter is a loyal customer and true fan. The prior location was great, but the new location is amazing. Their selection of succulents is refreshing and they definitely have something special for everyone and for every occasion. In fact, they actually said "Yes" when my daughter asked to have her private wedding there! They provided her handmade: crown, bouquets, boutonniere, and wedding favors. This is my new go-to plant spot! As someone who has killed many plants, I need a place where I feel comfortable enough to ask advice and get pointed in the right direction for which plants suit my lifestyle. Succulent Native always has the nicest employees willing to chat about whatever you need. There's a nice selection of reasonably priced indoor and outdoor plants. My $10 pothos is thriving and I've bought several clippings for propagation from $2-5.  I also just realized that Succulent Native is the cute succulent stand that's a staple on South Congress! Shannon is amazing! We stumbled upon the shop on E 5th years ago and fell in love with her creative creations, and the new shop on N Lamar brings that same energy closer to home for us! Every time we need a gift for a friend, boss, or any other person, we stop by Succulent Native. When we began planning our wedding, we knew we wanted Shannon's creative touch on the centerpieces. Her work was out of this world! From the bouquets that she created (one at the last minute, thank you!!!) to the amazing centerpiece arrangements, everything was absolutely perfect. Shannon's professionalism extended to our airplant station and her interactions with our guests, many of whom are planning to stop by one of the shops as soon as possible! I am so lucky that I stumbled upon this shop on google maps! I was looking for a decorative succulent plant for my place and didn't like any fake ones I was looking at. When I entered Succulent Native, everybody was extremely friendly and helpful. Cutest little succulent shop I’ve ever been to! Super friendly and helpful workers. Parking nearby was cheap. They have plants that you can take home and pot yourself, or they have a bunch already in cute pots, or you can bring your own pot and they’ll pot the plant for you!

I’ve been buying succulents and plants from them for close to 6 years now. Not only do they have an absolutely AMAZING selection, but they can educate you on how to properly care for what you purchase. I can not recommend this shop enough if you’re looking for some new greenery. They have premade arrangements but can also do basically whatever you want. The arrangement the head designer Shay made for me is absolutely beautiful and wasn't even close to overpriced (even though I was expecting that seeing how they're a trendy shop downtown ). This shop is absolutely precious! They have a ton of awesome premade arrangements in all sorts of styles. You can also pick out your own pots and plants if you want. This is a sweet space that you must visit for all of your succulent dreams, ideas, and gifts! {They also help you with struggling ones you have at home, just bring them in too! }Thank you all for your knowledge, patience and most of all keeping Austin local and weird! I was next door for a Christmas party and saw the sign out front. We went back to check it out and found out that they had actually already closed 30 mins prior but stayed open because we were coming in! So nice of them! The ladies working there today were soooo nice and helpful and put together a beautiful arrangement for me (very quickly) and delivered it down the street for me as soon as it was ready. Looking for a plant/succulent shop that does arrangements and delivery like a florist? I wanted to send a succulent arrangement in lieu of flowers to a friend whose mother had passed. Succulent Native did a fantastic job, from the selection of samples at a variety of price ranges to customizing the arrangement, and affordable delivery with text alerts to the sender and recipient. Shay was extremely helpful, and was hands-on throughout the whole process, from creating the arrangement and sending me a photo, and even sent a photo when the plant was delivered. Succulents and plants are longer-lasting than flowers. This will be my go-to source next time I need to send an arrangement or purchase one at the store! More...
