What do you love most about your job?
I love this job because it lets me empower clients to reflect or project the confidence and competence that comes from an authentic, appropriate, and attractive appearance for any personal, social, or professional situation. It is a fascinating profession wherein I can truly make a positive difference in people’s lives and in society as a whole. When clients look better, they feel better, they act better, and then others react better to them—life gets better! The world becomes a better place—it works!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to better myself and my life and starting this business was a way of doing that and giving back at the same time, to enable clients to get out of a rut, get more confident, get more respect, get a date, get a job, get a promotion, get a child to listen, get a spouse to pay more attention, get off the couch, get out and get involved in the community—to Get A Life!
My mission has always been to make a difference in the way people view themselves, empowering others and improving body confidence. I’m a big believer in kindness and am passionate about development of others which has inspired me to start StyleGuru Maya. With this ethos I aim to provide the most impressive service to my clients.
