I joined study write in January 2019 and i have to say i really enjoyed it. I found it quite scary and daunting in my first few weeks. However after a few lessons i settled down into a routine and i really enjoyed it. Mrs Queenan as well as the whole study write team are amazing and i think they are one of the best teachers i have ever had. All the homework seems hard and way too much but if you practice it will definitely pay off. I studied in study write for under a year and i came in the top 150. I sat my exam in September 2019 and i must say that Mrs Queenans pre- tests were actually harder than the real exam. After my son asking for extra work I got in touch with Study Write due to it being recommended by a friend. My son started the 11+ sessions and loved them from his first lesson, inspiring him to aim for the 11+ exam. Vicky was supportive towards him and his learning journey but also towards myself as an anxious and worried mum. Vicky taught the class as a whole but I felt confident that she knew my child’s learning methods and his strengths and weaknesses, supporting him where he needed it and challenging him in all areas. Updates of his development were sent out to me so that we knew which areas to offer more support. I can not recommend Vicky and Study Write highly enough. My son has just received his 11+ results and secured a high enough ranking that means he will receive his first choice of Grammar School. If the study write syllabus is followed throughout the year it is a fool proof way of ensuring a successful outcome for the challenging 11+ exam! !! The structure is exceptional. The teaching staff are awesome led by Vicky Queenan .. she was always there every step of the way to answer any questions or concerns, she always offers a fair and an honest assessment. I would highly recommend Mrs Queenan and the study write team. Mrs Queenan is highly organised and dedicated. This last year with study write has been brilliant for holly. If nothing else it has been amazing for her confidence also. The practice exams in the lead up to the real things were invaluable and her marks steadily improved with each one leading to a successful pass for the real thing, which we have discovered today. Big thanks to all of you for supporting my daughter Hayden. She was a nervous wreck to start with but slowly started to shine. Still awaiting results but whichever way this goes, the enthusiasm support and attention you gave her has shown her how bright she is. It has had a big effect on her confidence and has given her a great basis to become everything she can be. Mrs Qs enthusiasm influenced her to do well. Selecting the right 11+ tutor is difficult with all the options now available. We opted for Study Write based on a close friends' recommendation and previous success. We have been impressed with the in-depth programme delivered, across all three subject areas. Studywrite was the only tutoring we used and it fully prepares your child for the test. The on-going support, structure of the tutoring sessions, homework and pre-tests enabled our child to handle the actual exam calmly and with confidence.
