Single mom interviewing photo studios for my kids Senior Pictures. I wanted to stay in Oshkosh, bc we know the area well enough to pick good shoot locations. We really liked Katy Frey & Studio 708! Katy was very open minded, relaxed, had a great attitude, & really does some great work :). Katy is really accommodating, she pays attention to her clients. Omg, Senior Pictures are expensive regardless of where you go. I saw no basic package under $1000 anywhere, so get ready for that! You need to make an appointment with Katy/Studio 708 to discuss pricing. This is good, bc you can decide what's in your budget & create your own package if you need to. Katy also does a complimentary family mini session with the senior shoots. That's pretty gracious, so make sure to appreciate the extra photos! There are actually a Lot of talented photographers in the area, I was surprised how many; but myself & my senior felt comfortable with Katy, & that's really important to us & to be able to get the natural 'true to you' photos we're all looking for for this big moment :). 708 Studio did an amazing job on my maternity and my little girls newborn pictures. Katy did both of them and did amazing. I didn’t know what I wanted to do so I let her take control and she nailed everything. Brilliant minds with ideas. Tim and Katy together did my little girl Millie’s newborn pictures and they were amazingly patient with her when we couldn’t get her to fall asleep for awhile. My husband and I had plans to meet with several photographers at different price points to find the best fit for our budget and our needs. Studio 708 were the first photographers that I had met with. When I walked out of their studio I called and cancelled my other meetings. The instant energy I felt from Tim and Katy had me sold. From that point on I had zero doubts with the choice we made. My wedding came 8 months later on June 3, 2017. Katy and Tim showed up early to set up, were amazing to work with and even stayed to capture some priceless shots! When planning my 2014 wedding I searched for a photographer for a long time. While looking through sample pictures I couldn't seem to find pictures that I loved more than Katy's (Charizma Photography at the time. ) After meeting with her I knew she'd be the perfect fit. Katy was beyond accommodating throughout my whole planning process. She even agreed to take my engagement pictures up north-which I had dreamed of since I was about 10! She was willing to do whatever it took to get great pictures that day including: carting her equipment around on a boat, getting in the water and being patient enough to travel to my favorite spots. On our wedding day she was just as accommodating and did I mention she was pregnant!? And it was hot outside! Studio 708 is a new partnership between two photographers, Katy Frey and Tim Neubauer.  I first found Katy under Charizma Photography, and she returned my voicemail regarding a quiet courthouse wedding within hours (unlike days or never, like two others I tried).  Katy assured me that she has shot hundreds of weddings, was married at the courthouse herself, and that we could easily get some beautiful photos at a non-wedding craziness rate.  She was super personable on the phone and invited us to come by her studio to talk in person and see some of her work, which we did.  We agreed on an hour for $300, including full digital rights, and she offered us an additional hour for $150, which we took her up on.  Katy also volunteered that since her partner Tim was available, he would come along too to help with lighting and such.The day of, they came to our house as planned, followed us to the courthouse, and took us around town to some pre-selected spots (we asked for urban/industrial).  They even had the perfect spot picked out to photograph the now-husband's car, on top of the Best Western's parking garage.  Katy and Tim were both very laid back and fun to be around, but had tons of cameras and lighting equipment that they clearly knew how to use.  They were also great at helping us pose in flattering ways, even when it seemed counter-intuitive (no dead hands allowed, chin down, kick a foot out, that kind of thing).  When I asked, Katy told me that the photos would be available in 2-3 weeks (shorter than usual for a wedding, since this was more like an engagement shoot).Well, just 4 days after our wedding, the photos have arrived and I am BLOWN AWAY.  Words cannot describe how incredible these pictures are.  I am beyond thrilled to have such beautiful mementos of our day to share.  I want to make an album, and I'm pretty sure it's going to be six inches thick to include every single photo, because they are all just that good.  Seriously, this is far beyond the "decent snapshots" I told Katy I was after.  We look relaxed, happy, and flattering, and I cannot wait to share the photos with everyone I know.If it's not already crystal clear, I would give Studio 708 a thousand stars if I could.  If you need any kind of photography, give them a call.  I promise it will be amazing!!!!
