Right round the corner from the train station (so didn't get lost). This was my first time there as a tog and although I'd found studio work daunting in the past Studio X is a perfect place if you're wanting to get some great shots but might need a little help. Within a 2 hour headshot set I got tips on lighting and even had enough time to try out some of the new settings on my kit. Can not recommend enough!! The studio is well equipped (even supply an iron and ironing board, a Godsend when outfits get creased from travelling) the management are so helpful and friendly, and they have considered everything you might need to shoot with- even down to accessories you can borrow!
Recently did a charity shoot there for Rogue Model Management in aid of the National Autistic Society and Bekah and Shaun were amazing! Helped the models and the photographers as needed, so welcoming, everything was done to make the day run as well as possible. Can not wait to go back!!! Book this studio, you won't regret it xx

Was MUA at a shoot at Studio X today, and can't recommend them highly enough. The studio was perfect, equipped with pretty much everything you could need/want, was super light and airy and even had a perfect set up for an MUA. Studio X is by far one of the most professional and well organised studios I have ever worked in. There is an endless supply of resources, excellent sets & equipment.
The studio is spacious with ample room for changing, set arranging and Makeup etc. and on top of that there is also equipment for models and Makeup Artists to use as well as refreshments.
The studio is comfortable, cosy and has been carefully built and considered right down to the finest detail. All the little extras add to studio and really let you see the pride and dedication that goes into their work and what they do.
I honestly cannot recommend Studio X enough, and I insist that you go along and see it for yourself and enjoy the experience!

while visiting Birmingham I took a trip to Studio X not once, but twice for photoshoots !!
On my first time attending the studio I was welcomed warmly by Bekah who ensured everyone felt comfortable and had anything they needed!
On my second visit on sun (11/03/18) Shaun was working and made me feel just as welcome and treated with the same respect previously given. Both host's are as friendly as they are professional and make working in the space even more enjoyable!
The studio's space and natural light is really impressive and its simple and practical design makes it wonderfully versatile to work in. More so, the studio set ups, toilet and private dressing room was kept to a very high standard of cleanliness.
I cannot fault this gem of a studio and look forward to my return there soon hopefully !!
A space with something for everyone.
Highly recommend !
