An amazing portrait studio in a quiet Pittsburgh neighborhood. From the outside you'll think it's just another old building sitting on the side of the road, but when you step inside you're transported into a beautiful gallery like studio that is lit with moody Rembrandt like lighting and filled with enchanting, artistic portraits that immediately draw you into their presence. Maria is absolutely amazing and so talented! We drove an hour to see her and it was worth every penny! She was so loving and caring for our son during his newborn photo shoot. She got the most amazing photo of my son and husband, in his Army uniform and she hand painted an american flag in the background! The Christmas photo session was amazing! Such wonderful memories were created that day. The kids were welcomed with cookies and milk. They loved the Pj’s provided at the studio. They were surprised to see Santa appear during the photo session. Watching Santa and the kids interact with Maria’s guidance was so much fun! Maria and her staff knew just how to interact with our kids during the session to get just the right reaction from them for the photos. The kids had a blast! Our kids were the perfect age for the session...8 and 6. The Christmas albums Maria creates are simply breathtaking. The metal wall portraits are gorgeous! The Christmas cards were beautifully done. We have received so many compliments on the card from friends and family. And while this was a once in a lifetime experience and we are so glad we did it while our kids still believe, if you decide to do this, be prepared to make an investment on the portraits and albums. My 3 year old is obsessed with mermaids. We saw Maria’s advertisement on Facebook for her mermaid session. We knew we had to sign up! The studio was amazing. She had several sets for different themes. My daughter had a blast dressing up as a mermaid and posing for the pictures. The finished prints are beautiful! The detail in her drawings is breathtaking. I came across an ad for studio m and the magical mermaid session and had to sign my three year old up (my three year old dresses up like Ariel every single day wig and all) so I knew she would absolutely love this. The studio and backgrounds were stunning and I loved how she provided the costume. My daughter loved every single second of it and felt like a model. I stumbled upon Studio M Photographic accidentally and I’m so glad I did! My daughter is 6 so I know I will soon begin to wonder if this is the year she stop’s believing! After seeing Maria’s work I knew she would capture the magic and excitement my daughter still has when it comes to Santa! So let me start by saying the photos are incredible I have one picture of my daughter that literally brought me to tears. Also Maria was amazing inspired and you can feel how much she cares about her work . That being said i was a little sticker shocked I was expecting to spend 600-1200$ For what I actually wanted was closer to 2000 + so I can give 5 stars for amazing artwork but in the same breath I do feel like people should be more prepared than I was for how much this could cost and once it's done you will not be able to leave without the incredible images.
