Robyn helped me with a gut renovation of a two bedroom two bath apartment. She prepared the drawings, helped in my selection of contractors and subcontractors, interfaced with same, recommended and arranged the purchase of all materials, etc. , etc. In sum, Robyn did it all. Robyn was very professional and encouraging in helping
me to design my seven-year-old son's room.
She spent two hours with me taking measurements
of the room and making recommendations about choices
for a bed, dresser, and rug. She showed me various options
on different websites and helped me to find the funiture
that looked best in the room.
She followed up our meeting by sending me a list of all the
furniture I had chosen and the websites I could use to order
the pieces. Using that list, I was able to order the pieces. When the
furniture arrived I was very satisfied and was like able to put the room together. I am pleased to report that my son's room is now the nicest
room in our apartment: so bright and cheerful.
I highly recommend Robyn as sn interior designer!
She is a joy and delight to work with!

I highly recommend Robyn and Studio D Interiors. I recently purchased a 3 bedroom house and needed to furnish it asap. I didn't know where to start! Thank goodness for Robyn. She sat down with me and we went over each room step by step and in full detail - down to the lighting, window treatments and decor. Robyn is extremely organized and thorough - we discussed look, feel and budget for the entire house and were able to get everything done faster than I could have imagined. Robyn really understood what I was looking for right away and had great suggestions. She was very responsive and timely with all my questions (and I had a lot!) and had excellent communication throughout the project. I am so happy with how everything turned out and all within budget. I was in a difficult situation, when a French designer I hired suddenly disappeared on me and stopped returning my emails.
That was when my coworker recommended Robyn. I was on a limited budget at the time, renovating a one bedroom apartment in Financial District, and was mostly looking for advice choosing the design elements and picking the finishes for bathroom, kitchen and living room remodel.
Robyn was extremely professional. She took the project on and provided exactly the kind of advice I needed - respectful of my preferences but candid as to what her opinion was at the same time. I also have to say she has an impeccable taste and in many instances although her suggestions sort of surprised me, they "grew on me" and I never regretted following her advice.

Robyn decorated my whole house. She was a pleasure to work with. She has excellent taste and is not pushy. She has taught me so much about decorating that when I bought an apartment in Florida , I decorated it myself but it has a lot of Robyn there also.

Robyn Singer-Dror was wonderful to work with. I had moved to a new apartment that desperately needed painting, floors, and more furniture than I'd brought with me from my previous hoe. I had no idea what to do, and I am terrible with paint color. Because I was on a budget, Robyn worked with me to provide only the services I could not manage myself. She recommended stores, designs, furniture colors and types based on in-depth discussion, and then she selected paint colors. My goal was to have an inviting and comfortable home, and indeed, it is. We are now enjoying the fruits of both of our labors, which would not have been possible for me to do myself. I very highly recommend Robyn and her company, Studio D Interiors. More...

This was a complete demolition and renovation of an apartment bathroom. It was an old and outdated, quite small bathroom, but Robyn was able to make it a showplace.
She suggested that we move the stall shower to where the tub was, and created a closet in place of the shower. She made excellent suggestions along the way and was always available to answer our questions. She provided detailed plans, made suggestions for purchases, met me at the vendors, made the purchases and checked in on a regular basis. Robyn was also quick to make changes when warranted. Some of the things that were suggested that make the bathroom even more functional are a fold-down bench in the shower, nice-looking grab-bars in the shower, but my favorite is the outlet inside the vanity which allows me to keep my hair blower always handy, but out of sight.
She was able to work well with our contractor with whom she was not familiar and gained his respect for the ideas that she provided.
