We had Mercedes for our engagement and wedding photos years ago. She was relaxed, easygoing and lot of fun! She was also able to put our large family at ease to take pictures (they don't like to have their pictures taken).

Brought our daughter here for her Grad pictures and as soon as you were met at the door, you felt welcomed. I have known Mercedes for almost 14 yrs we met when she did our engagement photos and she has done our wedding and lots of our family pics. We had the privilege to have a beach photo shoot with my family by Studio 8 & Design! We had a blast! She has the way with kids to make them look at the camera and smile! She is very patient with kids and she lets them play a bit so it makes a pleasant and less stressful evening for the kids and the parents. LOL . We had our pictures back in a very short period time. Mercedes is a phenomenal photographer. We are SO happy with our family pictures. I went purely on trust that our location, lighting, etc. would work on a rainy day, and our pictures turned out perfect - couldn't have asked for anything better. Mercedes has captured all of the most special moments in my life; my pregnancy, my baby, my dogs, family pictures and now most recently, my wedding day. Mercedes took photos of our large family of 15 yesterday, imagine how big of a deal it is to wrangle in a family that large and she wasn't frazzled in the least trying to pose us all. I loved her demonstrations as it made it real quick and painless getting into position. It was also nice to have Gaby taking candids of the kids playing while part of the family were getting their photos with Mercedes. I admit I was skeptical with 7 kids and 8 adults I didn't think it would be as easy as it was. Thank you so much for capturing our family, I can't wait to enlarge it and put it over the mantle. There are literally no words to describe Mercedes. Her professionalism is unlike any other - prompt with responses, super creative, eye for detail, patient, fun, and not to mention open-minded to suggestions to make the whole experience about you. By the time our shoot was over, it felt like we knew her forever.

We recently worked with Mercedes and Gabrielle for the first time. From the moment we first emailed, until we received our finished product (our images), we were extremely pleased. They respond quickly and they make you feel very at ease and comfortable. My kids are a handful and they can barely stay still for a minute. During the photoshoot, they were able to gather and take amazing family pictures, which is impossible. They were patient and were understanding of our situation. They made us feel comfortable and relaxed, so we had a good time during the photoshoot. I really appreciated Mercedes attention to detail. She guided us and told us where to stand, how to pose, where to look,… We also loved the pictures that were unplanned and unexpected. Each child has pictures that capture their personalities. They provided an overall incredible experience! Starting with accommodating us three days past my due date, with a same day appointment right up until the very last picture! ! Our photos turned out fabulous, even my significant other was satisfied and left with the comment “if I have to get more pictures done I would choose them every time” ... we are very grateful for the creativeness, patience and accommodations we were provided and we will definitely be returning when our new little guy arrives!!
