If I could give zero stars I would. This company is a bunch of scammers! They sold me a photoshoot as a “pampering experience” and when I realised what it was it was too late for a refund. Took a further deposit of 200£ and never returned it. Turns out they closed their business, and now I cannot contact them. Whole thing was fishy from the start, the way they pushed for deposit money so soon, and how the staff acted during the experience, as if they knew they were just getting as much people in to collect deposits and will be closing business in matter of months. Experience was overall average. No great pictures or make up! Before the session i received so many call to book a date etc. . they took my deposit of £150 which was guaranteed to be refunded I am still waiting for it. I have called many times, left voicemails and sent emails and I have been completely ignored.
If it does not resolve this week I will definetely take leagl action, do not use them More...

Sad to write this review about a local business, but feel it’s my duty to warn any future potential customer of the lack of professionalism and terrible customer service this business offers.

We booked a family photo session for myself, husband and toddler for the beginning of April, emphasising I’m currently pregnant and want to have nice memories with the belly and my family. We were charged a deposit for £200.

The photo session itself on the day was very quick, the photographer took few shots with each outfit and were were rushed to change into the next one (total of 4 outfits), They didn’t have many backgrounds for photos, and the ones they had were very bland. The photographer was also asking me to pose in such ways that my belly was hidden, despite me reminding him i want the belly to be shown on the photos. I then asked for pictures with just myself (boudoir), glad I did as belly couldn’t be seen in majority of the family photos.

We were then told to come back in an hour to review the photos. We were guided to the pricing, £70 for one photo, the more photos you take, the cheaper it gets and £15 for a retouch for a single photo. We didn’t have a particular budget in mind, I just wanted nice family photos, but during the review I didn’t like very many and was disappointed I couldn’t see my belly. The person in the room who was helping us with the review assured me the retouch will fix anything I don’t like - he convinced me he will swap the smile of my toddler on one of the photos, will remove double chins, will photoshop the imperfections on their chair and floor, side ways bow-tie etc. I foolishly believed him but even with the potential adjustments I only liked 8 photos. He then offered us a package for £400 for 10 photos with retouch and prints and we agreed, with the mutual understanding that all the little details I didn’t like will be fixed with the retouch.

Maybe a week or two after that I was contacted via e-mail with the link of the retouch photos for approval. OMG! First, we looked like mummies on all photos, so so pale (perhaps as a result of unsuitable backgrounds), the picture on which my toddler’s smile was changed was so fake it was almost scary to look at and the rest of the adjustments we agreed to make were simply not done. I quickly responded I am really disappointed with the outcome and shared what I didn’t like. Nasryne (the Studio Manager) assured me the retouching progress takes some back and forth exchange, they will add some warmth and sent me another link few days after. I could hardly see a difference with the new link and asked for a partial refund at least for the photos for which I can see they cannot fix despite promising to do so and the printing as there is no way I would print us as mummies in my hall. Explained I still am happy to pay for a package of 8 photos as I think those I can take to another studio, where they make the photos warmer and fix little imperfections, but would like a refund for the 2 photos and prints. I think it is quite a reasonable request, especially given the quality of all photos. No response.... We’ve had photosessions in the past and never did I have such poor outcome and experienced such lack of professionalism. Have chased for 2 weeks now and have been totally ignored. My advice - AVOID! Plenty of other studios where you would have a much better outcome, and won’t waste your money, time and energy!

Today could have not been anymore perfect! We were greeted by Natasha who was friendly and polite, she immediately offered us drinks and instructed us about how the day was going to go. We where then placed into the hands of our stylists who listened to what we wanted for our look and adjusted what we didn’t like, they were incredibly friendly and professional (and even helped my friend who doesn’t wear or understand makeup figure out what was best)! After our make over, we were left in the capable hands of Danny who made today so comfortable and special, I was so nervous about doing the shots today but Danny put me at ease by weening me into each photograph and making each shot memorable and unique, he was magnificent. Viewing our photos was late, purely because the women before us had a good time, but Natasha entertained us by keeping our drinks filled and chatting away with her bubbly personality. Finally we met with Aaron, who showed us our photographs from the day and talk us through everything, completely professional and he made us at ease with his relaxed personality. For anyone who has bought a day package from someone on the street and is a bit apprehensive please read this!

My girlfriend and I were approached on the street and sold the day package we really didn’t know what to expect and were a bit nervous.

However, everything on the phone was handled very well, I knew exactly what was going to be happening and even though the £50 each deposit was a bit of a shock.

Our welcome was lovely and we had a much needed cup of tea as it had taken us a while to get there, thanks Natasha! We were slightly late but this wasn't a problem at all, we just rushed through the introduction to make up for it.

After this we moved on to hair and make up, we both asked for a fairly natural look which is exactly what we got. I wasn’t happy with my hair but I’m very particular about it so not really the artist’s fault.

The shoot its self was so fun, I was worried about not feeling comfortable posing but our photographer Danny was just amazing at telling you exactly what to do. We just felt completely at ease and it was much more fun that I thought it was going to be. During this we were offered wine which was lovely.

We said before hand that we could not buy any extra photos as we're students and really can't afford it, we were worried they would pressure us too much but actually Aron respected that we're students and didn't push us into buying anything at all, he was lovely to chat with and you could tell he had a good eye for unusual shots. Although I felt he pushed the photos he liked most rather than what we liked but I was very happy with my selection in the end!

At the end of the day, if you've paid a discounted price on the street, it's so worth it. Just go and have fun, you've got nothing to loose! More...

Thank you Studio 52! I have been to a shoot before with my mum but this time I brought my husband for a couples shoot.

He doesn't usually like attention on him but the photo shoot with Danny really brought him out of his shell. He and I had an amazing day!!

I went here recently after being recommended by a friend. I was super happy with the day. As a business owner and professional I understand the importance of excellent customer care.
After reading some of the reviews on here the large majority very positive and a few less so, I decided to find out for myself.
Not being a model, I wasn’t sure how I would feel in front of the camera, and also what I would end up using the photos for.
The greeting was very warm and friendly and I had a brief tour around before having a coffee and chat with my photographer Naz about the shoot.
I can honestly say Naz is a super super photography, excellent creating great images but equally in making you feel relaxed and in giving lots and lot of great posing tips (which I’ll be taking away with me!!).
After the shoot, I met Krish, the owner, who reviewed the photos with me and helped me choose the ones I liked.
I was apprehensive about how they would apprach the sales as I wasn’t sure I wanted to purchases any additional images other than the complimentary one included with my package from the voucher I bought. However, everything was explained clearly to me and I felt comfortable that if I didn’t want to purchase them, I didn’t have to. But there were so many shots that I loved (and I don’t often like photos of myself!!), that I ended up coming away with 10 images that I’m absolutely delighted with.
In fact, I’m so happy that I’m sending my team and friends down, and I wanted to take the time to share my experience on here.

My cousin and I were brought the makeover and photoshoot as a gift and were unsure of what to expect after reading reviews on Facebook. We were greeted warmly and offered drinks. Next we had our hair and makeup done - we both really enjoyed it and the ladies there were great! Nails painted - one coat of colour but I suppose only really to look good in photos. Next to the photos! We both expressed to Imperia that we were nervous and she was fantastic - she was so professional and friendly and gave us so much direction we’d never once felt uncomfortable. On a side note - we were not offered any drinks in the two hours of makeup, hair and photoshoot and a glass of water would’ve been appreciated. Next to look at the photos! We went in knowing we only wanted to choose our one print that was included in our package. This did not go down well. Apparently we are the first people EVER to only go away with our free prints - hmmm?! We expressed that £70 for one image was completely out of our price range but Matt continued to tell us how it would make the studio a loss etc. We stuck to our guns and left happy with our free to prints which were sent to us there and then.

Overall we had a fab day and would recommend but tell people to stand strong if they don’t want to spend more (or wait until he offers you a great offer as you walk out the door - however we were too cross to take it!).

A note for the management - the makeover team and photographer were wonderful and a compete credit to your business. The lady who greeted us floated around on her phone and interrupted our make up artists several times to speak about herself and what she was doing later that night - I feel this lowered the tone and atmosphere that others were clearly trying to set. I would like to say massive thank you to all the team in Studio 52 for my photo shoot. I was one of the lucky ones which has won this experience with one photo for free. I was very happy when I have found out, but after I have shared my happiness with few people my happiness got change to a concern. They told me that this kind of companies are trying to rip you off after photo shoot. I have start reading reviews and opinion about this studio was mixed. I wasn't sure what to think , but in the end I have decided to go and find out on my own.
When I have arrived I was welcome by Natasha who was my host for the day, she was lovely and explained everything about the whole experience. Then I was taken upstairs where Lawrence and Jade prepared me for my session, they made my nails, hair and make up. I knew how I wanted to look like from the start and I got exactly what I've wanted. In a meantime when I was waiting form my session, Natasha has offer me a glass of Champagne, which was very nice and helped me relax a bit. I have to say that I was a bit scared, just because I do prefer to be on the other side of camera. Thankfully I had amazing photographer Michelle, she made me feel very comfortable and after few photos I start to have fun. I was very happy to have lady as my photographer, I really wanted to have boudoir session for my husband, so I didn't feel awkward at all.
While I was waiting for my pictures to be review I got offered another glass of Champagne. Mat picked me up and we went upstairs to see results. I have to admit that I am very picky abut my pictures, and I wasn't sure if I will like them, but my photos were actually better that I have expected, In the end I couldn't make up my mind. Through all this time Mat never ever pushed me to buy pictures. He was very nice and he waiting for me to make a decision if I want them or not. I left with 6 amazing pictures. My profile pic is one of them.
So as a summary my experience was great and I really enjoyed it.

Wonderful experience for those looking to have professional photographs taken and we really enjoyed it. Staff was very friendly and considerate, photographer was experienced and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, make-up and hair were done really nicely (it goes quicker if you bring your own foundation as you skip the skin colour matching part). The session was also very private and it felt as though we had the whole the studio to ourselves as bookings are scheduled so that there is no-overlap between appointments. I've done professional photo shoots before, but I have bever felt so comfortable and had such good treatment as I did at Studio 52. The receptionist, make up artists, photographer and creative director who went through our photos were all super friendly! I went with my sister and we really had a great time, much due to how well we were treated.

Very nice customer experience from booking through to delivery of the images. The photographer was very approachable and friendly. She managed to make the photo shoot easy and relaxed despite the fact that first felt a bit uptight having a big camera held pretty much in my face. I felt pricing was fair for what I got. Having bought this photo session on special offer, I really wasn't sure what to expect but from the booking onwards ,everyone was very friendly and clear about what the day would entail. My daughter won a free photoshoot. It was a great experience, the team are lovely and are very welcoming. On this occasion my daughter was unwell and wasn't very focused (she 2) the photographer managed to keep calm and maintain her focus to achieve amazing pictures. Definitely recommend

Such a great time! My friend and I had so much fun, being primped and pampered and then photographed looking our very best. The whole team are lovely, genuine people with a sense of humour and warm attitudes, we felt so welcome. The photographer is fantastic, she knows exactly what looks good and gives just the right amount of instructions.

Absolutely fantastic experience, my friend and I hugely enjoyed the day. When we arrived, the staff were friendly and so lovely when greeting us, our host then completely explained the layout of the day and made us feel very comfortable. We were given lots of options for our hair and make-up for the shoot, it was really good to choose from lots of different looks. We then went upstairs for our makeovers, and got our make-up, hair and nails done and we looked spectacular thanks to the amazing hair and make-up artists. The photoshoot was so much fun, the photographer made us feel really at ease and helped us to make only the most fun and flattering poses which was a relief as neither of us knew how to pose properly. We then got to review our photos with the owner himself and we had a great time joking around commenting on the photos. He was absolutely lovely and helped us to pick out our best photos. This was my second time at Studio 52 and I had the most amazing experience.
The staff were so friendly and my hair and make-up were done to perfection. The photos were phenomenal and I couldn't be more pleased with them. The photo editor (Krish) was amazing and so charming which made me love my photos even more.

I went by myself, and was made to feel so comfortable, so for any of you that aren't sure whether to go alone, I would highly recommend it!

Every member of staff were very polite and amazing with the kids. .....When your Mrs makes out its a quick photo but really you there hours didn't help my experience but nothing to do with this excellent studio.
