I was anxious about the whole senior picture experience for my daughter. But Dave at Studio 187 did a fantastic job and was super easy and flexible to work with. The studio is in an ideal location to get a variety of beautiful natural backgrounds. We loved the pictures so much that we booked a family shoot with him as well. He knows his business but he was also open to ideas and suggestions about what we wanted to see. This situation has now been rectified. Dan, I believe his name is overnighted my replacement statuette after seeing this. I am truly thankful he wanted to make this right, statuettes are my personal trophy of raising a star athlete . Packaging was superb this time. Thanks again








It’s been over 5 weeks since I was suppose to receive a replacement statuette of my sons basketball season at gybb. Studio 187 thought it was a good idea to send the figure in an envelope with no bubble wrap or fragile marking. I received it with the head of the figure detached. I called about this problem and was told they ran out of the material and were waiting on the manufacturer to notify them of a restock so I could have it replaced. We have used Studio 187 photography for years and we always request that Dave be the photographer for our pictures because we started with him and we want to stay with him. He has a great eye for finding a scenic spot for the photos. He is great at working with our family to find the best shot for the situation. For us, he has done photo sessions for newly adopted kids, young children, elderly family members who are not very mobile, photographed around a wheelchair so you hardly see it, my daughter's wedding, senior portraits (multiple), family portraits with multiple generations, shots with pets, shots in the creek, and more. He keeps going until he gets the shot he wants. On our last session he came in to the studio during his own family vacation because our daughter was getting married and we had a lot of family flying in to town. He posts the photos on a private site for you and your family to look at and purchase if you want. He has done our Christmas cards (with photos) several times and we loved them. I can't say enough. I am a business owner and most of the time that I am in the studio it is just him there, so I realize that he is often doing both ends of things - photos and ordering, booking, etc. I am patient waiting for him to handle the admin end of things because I have always been happy with the results. I had so much fun getting my senior pictures taken at Studio 187! The photographer, Dave, made me feel so comfortable and guided me through the entire experience. Not only did he have creative photo ideas he also made it fun and gave me a ton of variety. Not to mention my photos turned out great! They looked natural and true to me, which was really important to me. My sister had her pictures done by Dave too back in 2010 and they were equally as wonderful, he has only improved. I had the most amazing experience working with Dave Aldridge and Studio 187. A novice to getting my picture taken, I wasn't sure what to expect, but once I got there, I was put totally at ease. Dave is the most amazing photographer! Kind, funny, KNOWS HIS STUFF. He knows just the right angles and poses to place you in to get the best lighting and action, so that your photos turn out beautifully. What's great about the shoot is how varied the photos turn out--it's not you in the same pose again and again, you are given great direction so that there is great variety in your pictures. I couldn't be happier with how the pictures turned out! Dave let me and my family take our time selecting which pics we wanted and guided us through the selection process. Overall, I can't say enough nice things about this photographer and studio. If you are looking to get GREAT quality pictures taken in a fun, professional environment with an experienced photographer, then this is the place!
