What do you love most about your job?
I love that we are helping both parents and students and I get a real buzz when we get great testimonials, such as this one from working mum Becca: ‘Thank you for such a great service. We are very happy with the two Student Nannies we found. They are great and our two daughters have become very fond of them.’

What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked full time as a journalist at a national newspaper and the biggest challenge was finding flexible childcare. Then I accidentally hired art student Louise to help us with after-school childcare two afternoons a week she was brilliant, always arriving with a craft project (and all the kit needed) ready to do with the children. When she left I wanted to find another student but couldn't so I set up https://studentnannies.com/ - and it's thrilling that I am now helping lots more parents find a flexible childcare solution.
