Fantastic service from David, who sourced me a replacement charger (as mine didn't work anymore) as well as gave me an additional 4GB memory, removed start-up programmes, cleaned my cooling fan, and installed updates. All for a very affordable price, in good timing, and with prompt replies! I don't usually write reviews but I will definitely recommend you in future, and will be a returning customer if I ever need come back. Thanks again! More...

Excellent price and rapid turnaround! Don't go anywhere else if you are in Southampton and in need of Laptop repairs!

My Macbook Pro keyboard was water damaged and keys were not responding - nightmare! I was reluctant to take it to the Apple store fearing expensive repairs and a long waiting period. Decided to take it to Student Laptop Repairs instead and was so glad I did! Within two days David had sourced a new keyboard at a great price, installed it, and I was back up and running! David's communication was great throughout and his service also included a full diagnostic and clean of my laptop, which was quite old and rather dusty internally - all for £60! More...

Q&As

All of it! Every repair I do is unique. I love to provide a service, to treat customers as people and not as "just another job". I take pride in what I do.

Simply the desire to work for myself instead of someone else. I can run everything the way I want to. Plus I can help people in a way I never could as an employee.

I received my early IT training at IBM. I have had a long and varied career in IT and can diagnose and fix problems quickly through the troubleshooting techniques that I have developed in that time.
