About

I will help you reach your fitness related goals, whether that would be to lose fat, gain muscle, or somewhere in between, without compromising joint integrity. Basically, we get fit, we stay healthy, and we enjoy the process.
After our initial meeting I will lay out all the different services and packages that I offer and I will give you my professional recommendation on what training package to buy based on what you are looking to accomplish.

The last couple of years were rough, my increasing insecurities about my weight and appearance were ruining me, not just physically, but emotionally and psychologically. I recognized that I needed to make a change or else my poor health was going to only get worse and worse. I found Tyler through Thumbtack and was blown away by his attentiveness and desire to actually help me. I received a lot of generic or minimal responses from other trainers, but Tyler seemed like he cared about my particular situation and was excited to help me. After working with him, I have found my old sense of confidence that I took for granted and haven’t felt this positively about my life in years. I always had trouble with accountability in terms of eating well and getting in the gym, but Tyler made the whole process enjoyable and I can’t think him enough for what he has done for me. More...

We first create a plan that fits for your desired goal and lifestyle. Then we execute it. Rinse and repeat.
In all seriousness, I’m fairly hands-on (non-creepily of course) and am always giving feedback when necessary. I’m not just going to stand there and count reps, but I'm also not going to bombard you with nine different cues or instructions at once . I’m going to coach you.
My role in all of this is to see the bigger picture and help you execute every detail as easily as possible.

The secret is that most people do not really care about getting the body of their dreams, they care about what they think they will feel like after they get the "body of their dreams." And (for the individuals who have a good trainer) they end up realizing that they don't care about how they look in the mirror, they care about how their peers or significant other perceives them, and they end up focusing on how they feel and their personal health more than the quality of a bathroom selfie. But, some people take longer than others to reach that epiphany and damage their body in the process.
You can either go down the road of endlessly chasing aesthetics, and sacrifice health, or you can work towards better health and end up with great aesthetics and feel good doing it. Your choice.

I love seeing the faces of clients after they achieve one of their goals, whether that is completing a good looking pull up or obtaining a physique that they are proud of, especially those clients that have had trouble for years to get this diet and exercise thing figured out. A lot of people come to me confused and misguided, not of any fault of their own, and I enjoy helping them see the bigger picture of what it means and looks like to live a well rounded and healthy lifestyle.

I was an employee at a gym for a few months and I had clients that needed my help in areas that my gym would not allow me to help them on. And clients would not see results because I could not give them everything that I had to offer. And leaving the employee world and starting my own business was the single best decision that I have made in my life because I control the whole show now, which allows me to give you everything that I have to offer and this translates to better results for YOU.

As you might have noticed in the "What's the secret to getting the body of your dreams?" answer, I actually want to help you live a fulfilling life, and nutrition and exercise play a vital role in that process. My exercise and nutrition programs are not focused on building the most amount of muscle, or losing the most amount of fat as soon as possible. We are focused on giving you results for life, and we are going to do that by working out and eating in a smart and effective way that will make this whole process much more enjoyable.
