Stu, just wanted to send you a message following our pre wedding shoot. Firstly, neither of us knew what to expect from this and we were a little apprehensive about it. Looking back, there was definitely nothing to worry about and we actually really enjoyed ourselves! Stu is an absolutely incredible wedding photographer I am so pleased we found him as we are not local but he travelled out to us for both an engagement shoot and our wedding and regularly kept in touch in the lead up to the big day. On our wedding day Stu could not do enough to help us even down to putting my shoes on! We have hundreds of fantastic photos and we did not need to spend hours having them taken as he had scouted the best locations and planned shots so we could quickly capture photos that looked like they had taken hours to set up. Some of the best photos we have are naturally taken from the sidelines and he was totally unobtrusive. Honestly could not give a higher recommendation as he managed to make the two most awkward and unromantic people look fantastic. Super Stu!When it comes to choosing a photographer you have to choose very wisely. We had Stu booked for well over 12 Months. That should be the end of my review! Speaks for its self really. Totally under control, awesome pictures from a guy who knows just exactly what to capture to get that “wow” factor when you look at the prints. No airbrushing, No Trickery, the experience shows that through attention to detail perfection can be achieved. We had a 1920’s Gatsby wedding where we were in period attire, as were our guests as was Stu. We met Stu at a wedding fayre in Sheffield and straight away we knew from his photos on display we wanted to book him for our wedding.
He was the first thing we booked after the venue so we had him booked a good year and a half before our big day!
We had our connection pre-wedding shoot about a month before the wedding and after getting the photos back from that we couldn’t wait to see what he’d capture on our wedding day!
Stu arrived at the venue on the morning of our wedding and began by taking a few bridal prep shots and he also captured the lads as they arrived at the venue! He even managed to squeeze in a quick boudoir shoot before putting on the dress!
He was very efficient all day and captured some amazing moments! He made sure everyone knew where they should be and had it all under control! Stu stayed longer than he should’ve done just to capture extra shots, which we are so grateful for as they were some of our favourites!
We got on really well with Stu and loved his informal but professional approach. From the very beginning we clicked and had a great rapport with Stu.
We have just received our ‘preview’ images! (Expecting about 20-30 photos) About 250 later, we are absolutely amazed!!! We’ve had the most incredible comments back on them and can’t believe how well Stu captured the story of our day! Some of the comments we’ve had:

Where to start? We first saw Stu's work online and loved his style straight away. We then met him at the wedding fayre at The Old Rectory @ Handsworth and instantly liked him. Alongside loving his work, he's really easy to get on with and shares our sense of humour. He's been amazing from the start, not just as a photographer but has helped with everything from my dress, my hair and makeup.. and even down to choosing my husbands watch as a gift!! He mingled in really well with our guests and just went with the flow of the day. He's not pushey or in your face like we found with quite a few photographers... and focused on the shots that we wanted.. on top of all this we absolutely LOVE the photos we have of our special day so far. Words cannot describe alone, how amazing and talented Stu is. From the moment we saw his work we loved it. On our wedding day he managed to get the most intimate photographs without us even knowing he was there.
His eye to detail is outstanding and he had some great ideas. He listened to what we wanted out of our photographs and implemented them in to his fantastic shots.

We got married recently on the 28th August this year. The day itself was really busy as we had a fusion of both Eastern and Western cultures. We happened to meet Stu at a wedding fayre last September and we are so glad that we did! He photographed our wedding on the 18th of June and we were able to view our photos a few days later. Stu is a very passionate photographer with a great eye to detail, capturing not just the moments we want to cherish forever but the moments that we don't get to of our guests because we're busy doing something else! Seeing the photos Stu took of our wedding was like an emotional rollercoaster itself of reliving the day all over again which is exactly what you want from your wedding day.
