Max has been going to daycare every day since he was 1 1/2 years old.  Since Jorge has taken over, he absolutely loves going there.  To Max, Berta, Adrian, Jalene, Sasha and the rest of the Strut Your Pup employees are family.  He LOVES them.  They are all so good with the dogs and will do so much to help out when you're in a jam.   The place is huge, with plenty of space for the pups to have fun indoors and outdoors.  Jorge has been modernizing the space and it's going to be even better than before with modern boarding rooms.  I highly recommend this daycare to all my family and friends. We have been taking Harley to daycare every day since he was a puppy.  He absolutely loves it!  Gorge, Michael, Adrian, Berta and the entire team are excellent with the dogs.  Facility is by far the best in the area with indoor / outdoor space and lots of room for the dogs to run around. As is the case with many people, our dogs are our "other children" and after having a new baby I needed some daycare support a few days a week for the pups. Strut Your Pup is not only a spot that I feel totally comfortable and happy with, but our dogs LOVE it, and they don't love everyone or everywhere...Also - the pick up and drop off service is super helpful and whenever they see Berta (or Jorge) in the morning they literally get excited! Strut Your Pup is a great establishment. The employees are their biggest assets. They are willing to go the extra mile to make sure your four legged fur ball is comfortable and has a great time. Recently, the place was remodeled adding extra rooms with bright colored decorations and play area. We started with sending our puppy (now an adult) and she loves it here. We’ve been sending our beloved minpin, Stuey, here since it opened and have nothing but rave reviews!! Jorge and the entire staff are excellent and truly LOVE the dogs in their care - they are very responsive to any and all questions and always make us feel completely at ease. Stuey is a senior dog and they take special care to ensure he gets extra rest during a day of daycare, and when boarding. We’ve just completed a 6 night boarding stay and had peace of mind while away because we could check in via multiple webcams - and Stuey has returned home looking and feeling good. Jorge and his team have been unbelievably amazing with their care, love, and kindness. There was a death in the family which meant we had to leave for a trip abroad immediately. Jorge responded to me very quickly and assured us that they would take good care of our 2 cats while we're away.Daniel, Natasha and Jorge came in once/twice a day to feed the cats, clean the litter box, put trash away, etc. I loved receiving feedback in the form of photos, fun updates on how playful the cats were, and info letting us know how the cats were doing & if they were eating well. I have been using Strut Your Pup for about four months now and it has been a great experience. Jorge and his team started walking my puppy right when I brought her home and have been a great help in training her. They stick to her commands so she continues her training when I am not home. The best part is the team does not just walk her they also play with her during the walks. This helps get her energy out which is way better than just a relief walk. I have also boarded my puppy with Jorge and he took great care of her. He even took her to the vet for me when she was sick. My puppy loves the Strut Your Pup team and is excited to see them every walk. The best part about using their services is the app. There is a summary of how she did every walk as well as pictures and a map that shows where they walked. My friend's dog walkers do not have this technology and they often wonder when the walkers are showing up. The app removes all worries because you know exactly how long they were walked each time. Jorge and Natasha have been a huge help during the development of my puppy, Wiggles. They love pets, take great care of them, and have provided me with advice when requested as I am first time dog owner. Through the app you can see when your walker checked in and checked out, where exactly your dog walked, you get insight and notes at the end of the walk, as well as some real nice pictures every single time. After a horrible experience with another company, we were very hesitant to hire another dog walker. Strut Your Pup has put all our worries away. We met with Jorge, who you can tell is a sincere animal lover. He was very detailed oriented in making notes and making an effort to get to know our dog, Dusty. Our walker, Jon, is the sweetest and most patient guy. We feel 100% confident when Dusty is with them. Strut Your Pup also uses a great app that is a check-in system. I know when they check in and out based on when they scan the QR code in my unit. You can also see where they walked w/ a GPS map. My wife found Jorge online when we had to find someone to take care of our 2 female cats since our neighbor moved. One cat loves everyone, the other there's no grey area with. You're in or you're out, ha. Friends come over, and if she doesn't like them, like my brother unfortunately, she lets them know. Not aggressively. But you definitely know you won't be getting any holiday or bday greetings from her. Jorge came over to meet with us, they were interested, and the fickle one hopped on the chair he was sitting in and started playfully rolling around. We didn't interview anyone else after that.We LOVE that he has to scan in and scan out, is very thorough, and that he sends pics. These animals, like I'm sure everyone else reading this can attest, are practically blood. They're not pets, they're family. My wife and I mostly work at home (she's in the city a lot more than I am), and they are with us in whatever room we're in 99% of the time. No hiding, sweet natured, greet us at the door, sleep and snuggle with us, etc. So finding someone who we know will be there to give them the attention and care they need is tops. We don't want someone saying they were there and then wasn't. That's just horrible. Added plus is he used to work in a vet office with animals, so it's a passion. Not a hobby. Jorge and his dad have been taking care of Bozu for quite sometime. Its hard to find a good dog walking company in this area. Majority is so commercialized that you really feel as if you are sending your dog to a factory. These guys are personalized, flexible & humble. I am extremely picky and at times annoying and they yet meet all my needs with a smile. They are always on time and they use this GPS/geotagging service that puts my mind at rest.

Jorge has been caring for our dog since he was 9 weeks old and takes care of him as if he was his own. Spencer practically jumps out of the car as we pull up to Jorge's home. Jorge has worked for a veterinarian as well as a neuter/spay clinic which gives us additional comfort as often times Jorge cares for Spencer overnight. Jorge is by far the BEST when it comes to caring for all animals. He's been a blessing when my I went on my 10 day cruise in May. He took care of my three babies with a complete affordable price. One of my dogs has severe anxiety and Jorge not only comforted me but also my baby during his stressful time. He sent me photos, videos, facetimed me and kept me posted 24/7 when it came to my baby. I have two dogs and since I was traveling, I reached out to Strut your pup for boarding services. I was extremely pleased with Jorge's professionalism and love for animals. From the phone call, to us meeting in person, I knew my pups would be in good hands. Jorge made sure to update me every day and shared pictures/videos, which confirmed they were okay (put my mind at ease). He catered to each dog differently, meeting their needs and making sure he followed their every day routines (petting, walking, etc). I have been using Jorge for almost a year now and couldn't be happier. We first started using him to walk Gypsy a few times a week while I was at work- Gypsy is a 1. 5 year old female GSD- she immediately gravitated toward Jorge and I felt right at ease. We transitioned to daily walks and also added another GSD to our "pack"; both Gypsy and Ava get their daily walks and I get updates/pictures frequently. When we are out of town or away for a long weekend Jorge also comes and feeds our cat. He cleans the litter box, fresh water, and spends time playing with her as well. Jorge was referred to us by a neighbor. We have a parrot (White-Bellied Caique) and needed someone to visit her twice per day for eight days. Jorge was great. A while back my fiancé and I planned a trip to Chicago for this past Labor Day weekend and since we always leave our baby (Nemo our dog) with my in laws we figured this time will be just the same. However, this year my fiancé's entire family decided to go away as well for the long weekend leaving us without a petsitter. Now if anyone knows me they know I treat Nemo as if he is my child therefore just the thought of leaving him with a stranger was totally nerve wrecking for me especially since Nemo has quite a tough temperament. I heard of Strut Your Pup through a friend whom I trust therefore I decided to give them a try. Jorge Ruiz came to my home a few days prior to my trip to sign paperwork and go over important details about Nemo. Of course being the control freak that I am I recited a laundry list of do's and don'ts as well as feeding and walking instructions. Jorge was very kind, patient and really listened to my instructions and actually wrote them down which I liked. Through conversing with Jorge, I realized that he didn't need all the extra instructions and precautions as he is very well trained to handle dogs of all sizes and personalities. But I must say the one thing that really put me at ease was the way Jorge approached Nemo and took the time to engage with him. Needless to say Nemo immediately gravitated to him. Jorge and I agreed that he would visit Nemo twice a day (am/pm) to feed him and walk him. Jorge communicated with me via txt keeping me updated with Nemo status which was great. I found Jorge when my pet sitter cancelled at the last minute. He did a very throuough meet and greet where we went over paperwork and a walk through of his place. You instantly get the feeling that he genuinely loves working with animals, and he even has a little pup of his own. I've never left my dog overnight with a sitter, but with Jorge I honestly felt comfortable. Glad my other potential sitter cancelled because he was a great choice. I hired Jorge at Strut your Pup to visit my cat twice a day while I was out of town.  He came for a personal interview and he turned out to be a very nice young man who is working very hard.  I gave him the run down on how to continue to spoil my cat as I do myself and while I was out of town he came in and fed and played with her for a half hour twice a day.  Jorge also cleaned the litter box daily.  He sent me texts and videos so I knew that My cat was doing well.  I thought he was very professional and did a great job. We recently used Strut Your Pup to come to our home to care for our cat twice a day while we were out of town. We were extremely pleased. Jorge was a complete professional, and I also felt like he truly cares for animals which is the feeling you want to have when you leave your cat alone at home overnight for the first time ever. Jorge did a wonderful job taking care of our cat, petting him, playing with him, brushing him, feeding and taking care of the litter. He also kept us informed every time he came to our apartment and even sent videos of his time with our cat! Even before we left our cat in Jorge's hands, I was impressed with his professionalism and caring attitude. I was very happy with the services provided by SYP. I started out with simple dog walking services, then upgraded to doggie day care. My dog was excited to see Jorge in the morning and I felt very comfortable leaving him there. I would get daily reports of what my dog did accompanied with photos and sometimes videos.
