Alejandro Urquiza has been my trainer for four years. He has worked with me through all kinds of fitness and life challenges. He helped me train for a Mt. Whitney hike, a long backpacking trip, and a half-marathon, among other things. With his coaching, I went into each feeling really strong. I have also had several injuries that he helped me to recover from--including a broken wrist I got while traveling, and a back injury from helping my aging parent. He has patiently worked with me after these injuries, coaching me through stretches and exercises to help me regain my strength and mobility. He really personalizes everything to my specific needs and is always extremely encouraging and helpful. I am a cancer survivor and decided that working out had to be a regular part of my life in order to stay healthy. Thanks to my work with Alejandro, I am now in my mid 50s and feel great. I have been working with Alejandro for a year now and he is an amazing private trainer. He is the third trainer I have worked with, and I have by far appreciated him the most. He is always on time, attentive, very concerned with safety, and specializes in a fitness program that matches my weight loss and long term health goals. I would recommend him without any hesitation. Awesome coaches! When I began training with stronger training I was 110lb and about 15% body fat! I told them I wanted to lower my body fat and increase my muscle mass! They worked with me in my Olympic weightlifting and I dropped to 11% body fat! IThe workouts where challenging but the coaches always kept me going! At times I needed cheerleaders and at time I needed the coaches on my case. They always pushed me be perform at best and always believed in me!! More...

Between work and Grad school I was finding less and less time to take my spin and Pilates classes, I gained weight and was not happy. I was introduced to Stronger Training and Alejandro through a family member. My intentions were to just try it out while I was still in schoo, and 6 months later I am still here! I found myself enjoying the workouts and enjoying the results even more! After the sore muscles had lessened I felt and saw more muscle. I am on my third training cycle and am still seeing and feeling so much change. Alejandro is very knowledgable about the exercises he gives his clients, and is able to answer all my questions. Alejandro also helped me get my diet under control, and I saw even more results! My body is starting to get leaner and muscles are becoming more prominent. I consider myself someone who enjoys working out and likes to stay active; I have a 24hr Fitness membership, a garage gym at home, and I play in a Basketball league on the weekend. All of these are great to have and do but when I want to challenge my body, I go to Stronger Training in Pasadena. The trainers there are top notch that know what they're talking about.I told them, that I want to lose more weight and be in better Basketball shape. So they accommodate to my needs and we work toward my goal.They also pay attention to their clients and make sure they're using the proper form. They've corrected me on proper form especially on my deadlifts and squats. Been training with them for a couple of months; 2-3 times a week, and I can tell that my cardio level/endurance has improved and my back has been feeling a lot stronger. I am always satisfied with my workout and it's never repetitive. It's always something new and challenging. Stronger Training is where you should go if you're in need of a trainer! More...

Danny's been my personal trainer for the last 2 years. He used to be my coach at a Crossfit gym, but my schedule didn't fit classes anymore, so I tracked Danny down and I'm so happy he was taking on new clients. He keeps me motivated and pushes me to work harder. But he's also hilarious and working out with him is fun.  When I started with Danny I told him I wanted to fit into my clothes from college. The funny thing is my weight hasn't changed at all, but I dropped two pants sizes. I think all that fat just got toned up, which I'm super happy about. I don't obsess about weighing myself anymore. For the first time in my life, I'm really happy with how I look. I continue to train with Danny because I like feeling healthier and stronger. More...

The guys at stronger training are the best trainers out there. They don't just specialize in strength and conditioning, they are also great at targeting weight loss. My diet plan was easy to follow and I saw results right away, by just staying constant with all of it. The training is tough but fun, and even though it's a private training session, they really try to make you feel like you're part of a community that goes to train there. Alejandro, Colin, and Danny are really  fun, really nice, and very knowledgable about exercise. This is such a great facility! It has been a wonderful place to train. I have been training with one of the personal trainers, Colin for about 3 months and I have nothing but great things to say about him! Prior to this, I did Crossfit for 4 years and was very injury prone. It was not uncommon for me to have to take a few weeks off every few months due to a nagging back injury. I decided to take some time off from Crossfit and my chiropractor suggested I try out personal training with Colin. It has been one of the smartest decisions I have made for my overall fitness and health.He is extremely knowledgable about programming, with a background in Crossfit and Olympic weightlifting. With my love of Crossfit, he is sure to incorporate movements that I am used to and love. He programs for my specific needs with constant variation, so workouts do not get repetitive or boring. I also very much trust him. I have been very hesitant about certain movements in the past due to my back, but I am now doing them regularly without issues! Colin makes sure I have proper form and pushes me just the right amount. He is also very flexible and accommodating with my sometimes unpredictable work schedule. Such a great place to workout. I love this place, especially my trainer Colin Crane. Colin is so much more than just a trainer to me he's a friend, coach, an inspiration and one of the best motivators to keep me wanting to do my best. Not many people take the time to listen to your needs and customize your workouts to your goals not his needs or what's easy for him. Most trainers have the same routines for every client, he takes the time and listens and knows what's best for your needs. Weight loss, strength training, cardio whatever your goals are he is the best personal trainer around. After having surgery on my foot for the fourth time he has worked with me to get me running again which I wasn't sure if I would be able to.  He's caring and tough when you need him to be. He makes a hard workout fun. He's the real deal and worth every cent plus much more. Personally I think everyone should go to him. :-) More...

I've been training with Danny for eight months, but I have known him for three years now. He is a dedicated athlete, and strives to encourage his clients to become one as well. It's highly motivating to not only see myself progress, but his other clients as well. I highly admire his ability to push those who want to lose weight. It's so encouraging to see his clients with huge weight loss continue to fight through his workouts, and healthy eating regime. His training incorporates different aspects of athleticism such as weight lifting, cardio, strength training, and crossfit. He is equally motivating and challenging to me, and I've made so much progress. I have never been more fit in my life, and training has become the highlight of my day. Danny is an excellent trainer. He encourages me to push myself every workout, but understands my limitations and modifies my workouts accordingly. Pasadena strength and conditioning is the most amazing facility I've ever worked out in. It's so great being able to go to a gym and not have to wait 30-45min for a machine. The facility itself provides me with much more versatility to my workouts. It's my one hour where I don't have to think, and I can just be stress free. Danny has alleviated a lot of stress in my life, and has made me such a stronger woman. My body has become leaner and more muscular, in an appealing feminine athlete body type. I would have never known I was capable of learning the technique for the weightlifting sport, I never thought I would be able to lift as much as I do now, and I could have never imagined that so many people would acknowledge and see my accomplishments. I thank Danny for being flexible around my schedule, and proving to me that you can make time for your health despite being a student and employed. More importantly, Danny has become not only my trainer and coach, but my friend. Every single workout we are constantly laughing, and having fun! His clients and I all agree, the best word to describe Danny is "goofy". He's so much fun to be around, and you need that when you're struggling to get that last push-up, one more pull up, and just give that last sprint everything you got. More...

I Love Colin, Danny and Alejandro! They've been awesome since I started in Sept 2014. I've made incredible leaps in strength. I  recommend them to everyone I know. The best part is the compliments everyone else gives me! It's about getting stronger and feeling good about your health, which ultimately will reflect in your mood and behavior. These guys are great. I've definitely gotten stronger and leaner. I couldn't be happier with my results. Its scary sometimes putting all your trust in a trainer, but these guys are great and they know exactly what they are doing.

The personal trainers stronger training are the best I have encountered in the San Gabriel valley. They are extremely knowledgeable and have helped me tremendously not only in my crossfit journey, but in olympic weightlifting and power lifting as well. They take their time to teach you each movement, and explain them thoroughly. Their programming is challenging and so rewarding, I have not only gained strength I've leaned out and lost fat as well.
